  1. Miramar is a city in Broward Cty FL. Suburb of Miami, probably where Celebrity has their business office.
  2. Important to note that is on the ships with 4 specialty restaurants. The 4 R ships with 2 are different.
  3. Yes, I do think someone said that a few days ago on another thread.
  4. It's an oddly laid out website. You need to go to the bottom of the main page, look under Guest Services, choose Frequently Asked Questions. Then type in the box what you are looking for. Or here you go, the first one is free. Guests are permitted to make the following reservations in our specialty restaurants - which vary by ship, category, and length of cruise: Marina, Riviera, Vista and Allura Owner’s Suite, Vista Suite, and Oceania Suite Cruises 7 days or less: 1 reservation at each restaurant Cruises 8-17 days: 2 reservations at each restaurant Cruises 18 days or more: 3 reservations at each restaurant Penthouse Suite Cruises 17 days or less: 1 reservation at each restaurant Cruises 18 days or more: 2 reservations at each restaurant Concierge Level Veranda, Veranda, Ocean View, and Inside Stateroom All cruises: 1 reservation at each restaurant Insignia, Nautica, Regatta and Sirena Concierge Level Veranda and above Cruises 7 days or less: 1 reservation at each restaurant Cruises 8-17 days: 2 reservations at each restaurant Cruises 18 days or more: 3 reservations at each restaurant All other categories Cruises 17 days or less: 1 reservation at each restaurant Cruises 18 days or more: 2 reservations at each restaurant
  5. Depends on which category room you're in. This information is on the Oceania website.
  6. I'm sure I've got it completely confused with something else. Happens as you age.
  7. I don't think that's a normal veranda bathroom. Doors are not rounded, that one is flat. Is that an accesible room?
  8. Apparently not below a PH on Nautica, but I think that would count as an R ship bathroom
  9. That's a lot of kids, your wife deserves to get those PH's.
  10. I know better. So much spin and missing information. Not once have you mentioned your point of view is from booking a table for 2. You aren't being denied the times you want because they're holding them for those in the upper suites. Many people that don't really understand the system, either by being new to Oceania and it wasn't properly explained or they're not computer literate wait until they're onboard to book their reservations. Why do you think there's a line on embarkation day all afternoon? Not to try to get extras for that night. But those that pay more should get more, just like Iowananny mentioned above. I'd think a good capitalist like you would understand and appreciate that. FYI, I always get the times I want, but we're willing to share. But even at 45 days we've been able to get early 2 tops. Just not always the night I wanted. For the most part we book in the G-B category.
  11. Let’s try this another way. Have you ever been on an Oceania cruise?
  12. Yes, sorry I contributed to that, I should know better.
  13. Tell us again how many Oceania cruises you've been on? Here's a tip, don't believe everything you read, especially on FB. They've got people posting there with Oceania Expert by their name that's only been on about 3 of their ships and have never eaten in the GDR. Go figure. I don't want to disappoint you more, but on Regatta you had to ask for fresh squeezed OJ or they would serve you some kind of reconstituted stuff. They really need to rethink that one. I'm pretty sure Serena does not have the evening pizza at Waves. But things change quickly, maybe they do now.
  14. Not to toot my own horn but I posted about this offer the day before.
  15. Just ask your TA what the commissionable fare is, the rest is port fees and taxes. I personally never worry about it. The total is what it is. But I guess it's important to you.
  16. The real issue is what is possible, the rest is just noise.
  17. Interesting, never run across that before.
  18. Don't know where to even start with inflexible mindsets. 🤠 For those that don't really mind sharing keep in mind that in our experience many times we've selected sharing and wind up by ourselves. I've gone to the reservations person on the first or second day and had all of ours changed when I once forgot to book them until 2 or 3 weeks before the cruise. Yeah, I was distracted by more important things at the time. We had cruised previously with the person in charge of that, and she likes my wife, so we wound up with 6:30 2 tops for all 4 restaurants. My point is that all kinds of things are possible when you're not so rigid.
  19. Is this the only port that has this restriction in Chile?
  20. Also be aware that Oceania does not refund port fees for missed ports.
  21. I get your point, but as you're always going on about, it's completely subjective. In all fairness this is in addition to the eating options that have always been available.
  22. Did you have a question about it?
  23. Do you maybe think being in the Owner's Suite might have had a bit of pull in making this happen? I've never asked for anything like that but would be curious. I do know they definitely take care of high value guests.
  24. As you might have noticed, Oceania doesn't break out taxes and port fees separately. That might change after July 1st when they no longer have a price with air. I think this has to with the California Honest Pricing Law that takes effect then.
