  1. We were in a premier cabana and it did not have a safe. At least not that I noticed. We didn’t all go in at the same time so never thought about it. We did walk around together and felt fine leaving most things but took our phones and ship cards (I assume don’t really remember questioning it to be honest).
  2. We were not given individual tender tickets. If I remember correctly it was just one ticket. We all headed down together to the location for the priority tender and had no problems. I feel like the shore excursion desk would be able to give you an answer/solution if you wanted to go ashore at separate times.
  3. @mjkacmom do you recall where the entrance to splash academy was? Or mind sharing what room number you had? Looking at booking a room on deck 12 and trying to figure out the best option with splash academy being right there. Thanks in advance!
  4. @CoasterGuy I just went to the distillery last week! We did an excursion thru the ship that went to a few different stops. We picked it due to the distillery. Had a great time. It is pretty small but had a quick tour and then a tasting. I’d recommend checking it out!
  5. Preferably walking distance from the cruise port area (but open to walk a bit). Doing a short excursion in the morning and assuming we will be dropped back off there. looking for something for the afternoon. Open on type of restaurant, love seafood. Would love nice view but would also go somewhere for the atmosphere or the food. I’ll check out the site! Thanks for that @bookbabe

@RADGIRL80 did you end up doing the excursion? How was it? Have it currently booked for our trip in a few weeks. Would love a recommendation on what shoes to wear!
  7. Wondering if anyone has a great lunch spot recommendation. Looking for George Town area. Thanks in advance!
  8. I’m doing something similar for a family member and am including luggage tag holders for boarding the cruise ship, passport holder (rfid blocker one) and may include some towel clips (I have so many). They requested water shoes that they need for an excursion
  9. Such great info! What was the river tubing like? Is it pretty calm & smooth?
  10. Curious if anyone had done this as well. Also an excursion with Norwegian.
  11. Was on the Escape in November with an early excursion, called room service the night before & they delivered a hot breakfast at 5:30am. They were super nice about it & clearly were delivering more at the same time.
  12. Thank you! That’s honestly super helpful. This whole thread is. Always so good to hear about other’s experiences!
  13. Can anyone give a ballpark on how long it takes to get to Punta Sur from the cruise ship? Will be on Norwegian & it is one of the things I haven’t done yet. They are offering an excursion now but it says only two hours for the tour. (I may look into a private tour as well but the ship cost is actually pretty reasonable with discounts).
  14. Thank you! Was hoping for priority tender!
  15. With having the cabana booked, did you receive tender tickets or did you still have to get them the same as everyone else? Have tried twice to go to GSC & been unsuccessful. Have a cabana booked for the next time so 🤞 sounds like you did have servers for drinks. Were you able to order food as well from them?
  16. Hoping someone can give some insight! Did one in the Dominican Republic thru NCL & loved it so considering booking this one as well.
  17. I would assume shuttles run all day but can anyone confirm that? Considering doing a short two-hour excursion when the ship first docks in the morning & would like to see SMB in the afternoon. In port for 8 hours. Just trying to judge how much time to allocate.
  18. Kimchi fried rice was so good! As was all the sushi. It was honestly all so good. We skipped dessert & ordered 8 different dishes to try. So much fun! You can’t go wrong there!
  19. I believe the shows were at 7:30 & 10:00. Im positive on the 10pm time as that is when I went. Choir of man was on twice. Im sure someone else can comment with the first day but it was on Friday as well, last night of the cruise. Such a fun way to end the cruise!
  20. Long doggers has the best fish sandwiches. Eau Gallie arts district has a lot of fun places if you have a car. It’s not far but it is across the inter coastal.
  21. Had a 12:15 flight out of mco on December 3rd. Did transportation thru NCL. Our bus got into an accident backing out of the parking spot, had to change buses, after almost getting out of the port they turned the bus around for missing luggage, huge line at southwest to drop bags & we still made the 12:15 flight. It was stressful but we made it even with things happening. The time to get off the ship for NCL transfer was 8:15am. Buses were leaving for the airport as they were filled.
  22. I’ve done it twice on NCL & would assume it’s pretty similar. Loved it so much the first time that I had to do again. NCL’s is a catamaran ride over to white bay. Gorgeous place to spend the day. Soggy dollar bar is awesome.
