    @pc_load_letter or anyone who knows, what has the weather been like on sea days and especially nights. It has been cold on the west coast lately. Do you think jackets are needed?

    Why in the world would you exclude all that? Being in port you could be back on the ship at different times and can still enjoy a beverage. I'm not sure why you would throw a whole day away. The logic doesn't seem to follow.

    My Wonder deluxe package is $83. Looking at the menus I can see all the drinks I like are $14 each. So that is 6 drinks in a day. That doesn't seem like very much to me. The peace of mind is worth the cost I believe. Sometimes I do not like the drink I ordered and with a package I do not feel bad for trying something.

    Also as a side note, the pricing for excursions seem so high. We booked a cabana at Coco Cay over Christmas 2021 on the Indy and it was like $600. It is nearly double that now! I guess they can charge what they want since they sell out but yikes!

    I received a pop up from my app that I can book restaurants already and I do not sail until July of 2024. You can purchase all sorts of things that you could not prior. Here are my questions. Do things like restaurant reservations fill up this early (16 months!) and does the deluxe beverage package ever go even more on sale (20% off) than it is now?

    Going on the Vista in July and staying in the Havana area. I cannot wait. it should be fun. Glad you had a good time! @DreadPirateRobert Did you miss any ports due to the Vista's possible issues? We are going to Grand Cayman and have seen people get moved to other ports. Not sure if you even were supposed to go there.

    So I see most drinks on the Wonder are about $14 per the app. But in doing research on Royal’s website it says $13 limit on select ships. So which is it? Is the limit on Wonder different or the sheet on the site out of date? There is a ton of interesting drinks on this ship and it would seem odd to price the deluxe drink package out of that market.

    If you can get a Vista Havana cabin, it is worth it! I have never been on the Magic but I loved the Dream and they are close. As said above, I would go with the Vista due to being a bit newer.

    imacruiser99, because people on this board have either missed ports / been rescheduled to different ports or left early from ports due to issues. Asking doesn't seem that far fetched.

    Love sailing from PC. Not just that it is closer of a drive but I just have had enjoyable times from there.

    If you are staying in the Havana area, I would say Vista because the area on that ship is superior. For everything thing else I loved the Mardi Gras. The have better restaurants and bars.

    I thought the deal was that the Vista being the first in the class to have this area, just had less rooms as you pointed out. Once the area was a bigger hit Carnival expanded to offering on future ships.

    To be fair, Carnival is sort of doing the same on their own. The shrimp cocktail, for example, is down to like 2 shrimps. Lots of downsizing all around.

    I bet if your ship has a SkyBox or Hero's Lounge you will be able to catch it. Maybe even at a RedFrog pub. IMO, it would not get the main pool screen treatment. Could be wrong on that though. What ship are you going on?

    This seems to get argued a lot but isn't it just preference? One person's horrible is another's awesome.

    I didn't see Monster but Celsius is at a lot of the bars too. I would always pick up mine at the Red Frog Bar.

    I agree with you. I'm going on the Breeze in July and plan to go to the casino more now. The non smoking part is awesome. Now if they would just add craps to the new section!

    I drink Fun Ships the first day since it feels very cruise like for me. Then I switch to a good vodka and some Sierra Mist. Of course now I have to order a good vodka and Starry...I don't like the idea of that as much.
