  1. After lunch, it was time to start the packing…. No one loves that🥺 But it needs to be fixed…. So Mr in the shower and his butler takes care of the rest😜 The canapés had arrived🍴 the last for this cruise⚓️ At 16.45 was the helipad sail-away. Very happy to be invited. Beautiful view and weather😎🥂 Great place to have a helipad event🤩 IMG_6282.MOV After the helipad Norwaylady needed to shower and finish packing. (No butler service for me😜) At 18.50 we decided it was time to head downstairs. Have a last cosmopolitan and listen to the live music in ensemble lounge🍸❤️🎶 The crew are very welcome and it’s always nice to sit there. Tomorrow’s departure information:
  2. We can’t complain on this view🤩 It’s sad that this is the last day onboard🙃 But it’s not over yet🥳🤩😎
  3. Today’s program was the walking tour from the ship. It’s a small group tour, so 10 guests booked today. Tickets said meeting time 8.15 on the pier. Our guide had to bring a group to a beach break tour. So he took us to the police station and walked the beach group before he returned to pick us up. So our tour didn’t walk off officially before 09.15… So a long wait🙈 very safe waiting area😂😂🇧🇸 Back to the tour🙂 The tour went to the stairs and the fortress. It was a 1.5h tour. Our guide was fun and a perfect first visit way to start our Nassau adventure. We had packed our backpack. Ready to walk to the beach from our tour. So off we walked for Juncano beach. We walked all the way to the end of the beach. The majority of the guests stopped in the area close to the hotels. So a big private beach for us and 3 locals on Easter family tour. Perfect😎🏖️ The local beer 🍺 had to be tasted… So as the good wife I am…. I picked up some colds on the way to the beach🥰 At 13.00 we decided it was time to return to the ship. Since we wanted to enjoy the sail in to Nassau, we had breakfast on the terrace in OceanView 07.00…. Perfect timing before the crowd arrived and we had perfect view for our docking/Atlantis. We dropped off our bags and freshened up before we went up in the buffet for lunch. It was Easter decorated🐣🐇🐣 cakes, Easter eggs, chocolate fountain, lots of sweets 🍭
  4. Today’s cruise compass Invitation for helipad departure Mixology & Music
  5. Rise & Shine We are soon in Nassau, we will dock by a Royal and a Carnival ship. We are sailing in line🚢🚢🚢
  6. Tonight’s dinner was good. Except for one dessert…. (The kitchen went off duty😝) Crew is very on the ⚽️ ball. Lina is spot on and Glory is in the zone. So nothing wrong in service from them. We had baby leaf salad Corn soup Scrimp scampi Beef tournedos Ice cream Apple crumble Starters and main course was excellent. The ice cream was good. But apple crumble….. the ceramic was cold and the crumble was not baked for a second….. So really a no no no…. Dessert. I received a new one, but still pale and not cooked for a minute🙈
  7. It’s 17.00 and the pools are still packed. There’s so many families onboard. It’s very different for us on X. Not in a bad way, but just very different compared to what we are used to. It feels more like a royal cruise. You know it’s not the average X cruisers onboard🙈🙈🙈 people are walking around carrying their own private speakers and listen to their own music for everyone around😝🎶 We went downstairs around 17.45. Today’s canapés had arrived Still no delivery of last weeks cruise cards… Hopefully they will be in the mail box tomorrow😇 (we collect them) Tonight’s show is Matthew McGurk, the illusion show from last sailing. So we are passing on today’s show. So it’s a slow evening chic rhythm for us😉 We went down to Ensemble lounge 18.45. It was a classic string duo playing. Very happy for the crew and live music🎶 At 20.00 it was time for a big flight in the martini bar🍸🍸🍸🍸 And after a perfect big flight it’s was time for senior officers presentation in Grand Foyer. ❤️ X it’s just how it’s done🙌🏻
  8. We slept longer then normal today… Didn’t wake up before 08.30. And Mr was dead until 09.00😝 We had breakfast in Spa Café. The banana bagels and the avocado tomato sandwich is always a winner for me🙌🏻🥰 It wasn’t crowded and no problem to get a table. The line to Al Bacio on the other hand was loooong🙈 But it moved quickly and they did a excellent service. We attended the concierge port-talk 10.00 in the meeting room. We are going to a new port of call for us AND a new country😁🙌🏻🤩 🇧🇸 It was informative and excellent for what we needed to know😎 We are booked on a guided walk in the city centre in the morning. 1.5h. So we will bring towels and swim wear😎 After the event…. You know what activity I did😝 Out for a walk🏃‍♀️ Pink light was out and about on the jogging track💃🏻 Decent walk for 2 hours. They had volleyball in the pool and officers vs guests. Crew was walking beverage trolley’s , serving fruit snacks and keeping everyone happy🙌🏻😎🥰 After a little change of clothes, mr wanted to have lunch. Spa cafe was closing, so buffet or mast grill😎 So buffet, Mr favourite it is🥰🙌🏻🤩😁 One happy camper had some Indian fish and some roast of today😎 I went for caprese salad and some sourdough bread 🥖 The selection for lunch service is good. It’s something for everyone. (Only thing I’m missing is more fish) but for the majority/non fish/seafood eaters, it’s excellent. After enjoying lunch on the terrace and some ice cream for dessert. We walked out to pool deck. Lucky us, it was a cabana bed available😎 Perfect for a dip and relaxing in the semi shade🥰☀️
  9. As we were leaving dinner in mdr yesterday, we walked behind a Norwegian couple. They were around my parents age. We said 👋🏻 hello We had a little chat with them before we retired to bed. It was their first sailing ever on a cruise (not counting Color Line Oslo-Kiel or Dfds to Copenhagen) They were a little overwhelmed by the “Russeparty» (Google Russ Norway) The first day…. And why it was lots of families and small children. They had read and googled different cruise lines and this was supposed to be a bit more quiet….😝 We told them that this is a short cruise, so it’s definitely a younger version of guests sailing and due to Easter holiday weekend, it’s very tempting for families. So hopefully they can see thru this sailing and give it a go on a 7-n in the future😉 Fingers crossed they will enjoy our sea day 🥰
  10. Captain’s club event was as scheduled. Drinks, canapés etc. Top cruisers was a couple, 50 cruises, 4000 points. Captain announced the employees of the month, March. After the party, it was time for dinner. Today’s service was smooth as silk compared to yesterday. Lots of tables in our area was empty. But the service and everything was more as expected. We had: Baby mizuna Salad Seafood chowder Seafood crepes Cod Pork Schnitzel Cherry jubilee
  11. After lunch and walking, it was time for a power 😴….. Just tired and ready for a little downtime😝 Today’s canapés arrived Tonight is the captain’s club party. 19.45 in Sky lounge. We won’t see tonight’s show. It’s the same as last cruise. We are very happy for ensemble lounge. But since covid, we have stayed away… So tonight we kicked off the evening by live music 🎶 and glass of wine.
  12. Out for a walk in Key West, logged my 10.000 steps… meet some manatees🦭🦭🦭 Didn’t shop or do anything special. Just a good walk in the heat☀️😎 Mr was melting😅🤪😎 Just returned to the ship for some lunch… homemade Affogato in Al Bacio as a starter l🥰 Double Espresso and my scoop of gelato on my card🍨 Then some salad in Ocean View on the terrace🥗🥂 Mr was so happy for chips and fish🐟🤩
  13. Today’s cruise compass We have docked in Key West. We have lots of children around us😆 Some has been very angry in the morning…… screaming and crying loudly. So hopefully they cheer up during the days🤩❤️
  14. Dinner…. Well, guess who’s back…. Back again… We had not received a card in our room and no supervisor had told us what plans they made for our dinner for the second cruise. So we arrived at select dining on the same hostess as first night last cruise…… She looked at us a bit strange. She didn’t expect us….. We had an assignment downstairs on late dinner. So we received the table number and walked down to 3-level. We are seated on table 337. It’s on the edge by the window, we prefer to be seated on the edges, it’s more quiet compared to the open area in the middle. You can tell that the average age is lower. It’s lots of families and small children on our neighbour tables. This was a “ultimate” first night slow dinner, service and syncing of staff/guests not functioning. Lots of children dinners and special request. We were 45.mins later out from dinner then last cruise, no coffee or sambuca for Mr. I was dying tired 😴 (you see😆 why I prefer a cruise for a more “older” crowd) And last weeks service was not rushed at all. So things went very slow. I will not make any big decisions on crew service, I will let them have one more dinner. What I can say is that Lina, our head waiter seemed on the ⚽️ when she’s working. But last night is was just to much going on for everyone….. it was on the border of headless chicken run🐣🐣🐣 Our sommelier was topping up my glass of rosé and I always have the French dry rosé…. I hate sweet wines. First she couldn’t find a chilled bottle, so she gave me a glass of a dry Italian. She rushed by to top up and she filled up by the American sugar rose🙈 it’s dark red and taste 🥴nothing as a rose…. So hopefully it’s team playing for next evening. After dinner we went straight to bed😴😴😴 We had: Asparagus salad Wedge salad Shrimp cocktail Onion soup Lamb Seared brancino ice crem strawberry angel cake
  15. We kicked off the evening in Sky lounge. (The stand-up show was not very tempting… it was a bit off last week and same person) Guess what???? Someone proposed next to us🤩💍🍾🥂❤️ She said YES❤️ Congratulations to the happy couple🥰 The Sil orchestra kicked off the party in Grand Foyer at 20.00 Love it when they do big band🎶🎶 The martini bar was packed🍸 Attached is the camp at sea for this sailing
  16. I can already report, this cruise has lots of kids and younger guests🙃 Holy smoke…. Prince & the rest the crew of Sunset Bar really works for their salary today. It has been packed from 12.…. It’s been a lazy day by the pool and Sunset for us. Beautiful sail-away⚓️😎 We have just returned to our stateroom for a shower and downtime before we start the evening. We have not received dinner information. So it will be a surprise if we are still on select dining or if they have seated us at traditional dining 20.30…. Anyway, we will go back to the hostess that moved us…. It will be a pleasure to say: guess who’s back? Back again…. (Get the lyrics😂😂😂) Hopefully it will be a good location and service….. Today’s program:
  17. My favourite is lemon tart🍋🍋🍋🍋 it’s one of the cakes onboard I really enjoy. but I prefer the one that just lemon tart, not the style on our plate❤️
  18. Turnaround day…. At 07.30 it was time for a coffee pick up in Al Bacio. They had started the process for walk-off. We had some coffee on the balcony and just relaxed before it was time to go downstairs for the b2b meeting 09.00. On arrival 09.00 they called tags up to 20. And it was still lots of people around the ship. 09.25 tags up to number 26 09.40 tags up to number 31 09.50 all tags called. Please leave the ship😝 WiFi was shut off at 09.40 for the first cruise. 10.04 can mr & Mrs xxx please come to guest relations…. 10.30 all cleared and new sea pass card 🥰 In our stateroom this was waiting❤️ I have just finished my walking tour. Great speed when deck is almost empty. Mr parked himself in a cabana box by the pool😎 And no it’s time for the first burger of the cruise😝 paperwork:
  19. Tonight’s show is Euphoria, a production show. During the b2b meeting yesterday. Some cruisers asked for deals on beverage/dinner etc. Alex, the document officer said they were occupied. But you will get a notification tomorrow… aka today. We haven’t received any response. Not by phone or by letter. For us, this doesn’t matter. We have WiFi/call. And we don’t tend to do special dining. We have tried Murano twice on other S-ships and we had a 4-night dining package on Edge when she was new on our b2b. Tuscans dinner menu is not tempting for us. Sushi is nice, but it’s insanely expensive compared to home. (El cheapo me say No🙈) But for those who asked it might be a bit grumpy mode…..since they haven’t followed up this. Back to tonight’s show🤩 Wow, this is really a great show again. Euphoria is a good show and the acrobatic is really a high score. We seen it before, but it’s really a great show. It is live and things can happen…😱 an acrobat fell off the ❤️ heart. She smashed into the stage😰 They had a technical break, they said she’s okay. But it didn’t look good😰 Fingers crossed she’s doing fine. The show must go on is a saying… and it did. It’s really a great show❤️ At 20.00 it was time for CeCe Teneal in grand foyer. She’s a show🤩🤩🤩 They really saved the best to the last❤️ Tonight’s we had: Apple pear salad Boston lettuces Duck Rillettes Cajun drum fish ( the Cajun seasoning is very salty, it’s what we use on French fries as seasoning 🧂 only thing is that the box in the store is called pommfri krydder😝) Short rib Cherry jubilee Apple pie Giri, Kheshav and Vincent is excellent in service. They are a great time, nothing wrong in them. They can’t be blamed for the French neighbours🙃 On the good side, I had to brush up on my French and Mr had to try to understand. When is comes to our tv neighbours, this is another story… but again, X can’t tell in advance if it’s good or bad neighbours you will be seated at🙃 For the next cruise, we are still not informed if they keep us on select dining or if they have moved us to set time 20.30😝 Time will tell tomorrow night🙃 After the disaster in Vancouver on our b2b on Eclipse , Mr has decided that we will follow the group tomorrow at 09.00. We don’t want to stand in line for 2hours….. The entire process was awful on Eclipse as individuals. On Edge the individual transit worked painless. So fingers crossed it will be easy and painless 😇
  20. @Ken the cruiser looking forward to your adventure⚓️👏🏻🤩😎 Fingers crossed all goes well🙃⚓️ We had a stack of test for our Alaska/Hawaii adventure😜 Just in case. And we also brought test now, just in case.
  21. Okey, this has been a day to relax. Norwaylady went for a good walk on deck. 2h power walk. (If you ask the crew, they can tell how many rounds😜) Mr attended Ocean’s ahead. Captain George is very welcome and a great speaker. So a happy camper arrived on deck to watch my last laps around the track😎 Lunch was a picnic from Aqua Spa Café. Mozzarella tomato salad and salmon mousse. It was delicious👏🏻 Dessert was melon from ocean view. Then it was time to walk down for a shower and a little downtime on the bed. Today’s canapés had arrived.
