Thank you so much. I emailed the hotel and received the same info except the hours that Homed are open. Here is their email (maybe it will help someone else) .. Further to your e-mail, we wish to inform you that there is a Covid – Test Desk, where you may do the PCR or Rapid Test, at our sister hotel Electra Metropolis that is 5 minutes walking distance form our hotel. The desk operates: Mon-Fri: 11:00 – 13:30 pm Saturday: 10:00 12:00 pm No appointment is required. The cost for PCR Test is: 38 euro per person The cost for Rapid Test is: 10 euro per person Apart from Electra Metropolis Hotel, there is another laboratory that you can have a test and it’s located at Ermou street No. 18. It’s called Homed and it’s open till 22:00. The prices although differ. Price for PCR test is 48 euro and for the rapid test is 10 euro. No appointment is required.

Hi everyone - just wondering when people tend to receive the email letting you know that your sailing is now open to bid for an upgraded cabin? I went on the link provided (in another thread) and it says you have to be within 90 so do you usually receive the email 90 days out or is it much closer to your sail date (we are sailing in August and currently 89 days out) so I didn't know if I should be checking daily on the website or do I have to wait for the email? Where are you getting tested in Athens please ? We do not sail until August (plenty of time for requirements to change) but thought I would log some addresses of testing locations now (also did you book ahead?) Thanks so much for any help

Just looking at booking a cruise on Apex for next March and Celebrity now have a non refundable deposit policy (deposit is $500) even if you cancel more than 90 days out but I can pay $400 more for my reservation to change this to a "refundable fare" should I have to cancel. We are considering this 7 day sailing but also considering a 10 day and as there are only 3 cabins left in the category we want on the 7 day Apex cruise, I figured we would put the deposit down to secure the cabin and then we could always switch once we talk to the other friends that might be joining (they are not sure they can do either so if they can't join either we will probably switch to the 10 day where there are plenty of cabins currently available) but we certainly won't if we loose the $500 deposit. Also, if you secure your date with the "non refundable" rate and there is a future promotion, OBC etc then you are not eligible ... just seems like a not so great new policy.

I have searched for hotels in Athens and Venice but either I am searching incorrectly or there is a whole other page dedicated to this topic that I can't find (forgive me if this is the case) but does anyone have a recommendation for a hotel pre cruise in Athens and post cruise in Venice.
