  1. Hello everyone - looking at this itinerary what day do you think the "beach champagne" day be ? Thank you for any thoughts
  2. I know, silly question (the things you lay awake at night thinking about 🤣) but we are sailing on Wind Spirit for the first time and I don't want to assume that the ships plugs (for hairdryer, phone/laptop) will be "American" so might anyone let me know please. Also, I know I will need one in Tahiti so might anyone have a good recommendation fora converter plug for hairdryer and phone/laptop chargers please (or let me know what I am looking for) Thank you
  3. Thank you - yes I have booked with Dr Pool and a private with Blue Invitation 💕
  4. It will be VERY easy to find a bar in St Thomas that will be showing it

  6. Good afternoon Lets try this again as I couldn't edit my previous post for some reason. Might anyone know what bay or area in the following islands we arrive as I am trying to arrange independent tours/car rentals but have no clue what location we might arrive so have no clue if I am booking something that is convenient or not. I have called Windstar and no one knew so they said to send an email (so I will) but thought it might be quicker to ask here) .. Papeete Fakarava Rangiroa Raiatea (I think we dock and come in close to or at the Uturoa Wharf ?) Bora Bora Huahine Moorea (I think we come in to Opunohu Bay ?) Thank you so much for any help.
  7. Thank you so much - do you know the area of the island by chance?
  8. Well duh, if only I had looked LOL Thank you so much for the info
  9. Good afternoon - might you have a contact for Dr Poole please ? I am on his website http://www.drmichaelpoole.com/tours.htm but don't see anywhere to click to book - thank you for any help
  10. Good afternoon Trying to plan excursions during our 11 night Tahiti to Tahiti cruise in September on the Wind Spirit (first time on Windstar .. so excited) and as we have not visited the islands before, might anyone know where we anchor (or dock?) in the following islands please as it will make planning so much easier .. Papeete Fakarava Rangiroa Raiatea Bora Bora Huahine Moorea And if anyone has any favorite tours please let me know (I am researching now and loving every minute) and have already booked a helicopter tour in Bora Bora as well as snorkeling with BoraBorah2o but that is as far as I have gotten. Thank you so much
  11. Awesome .. we are on 1 in March but should look to book 2 when we are onboard (there is one in April that looks appealing)
  12. We did a helicopter tour (from neighboring island) over Montserrat and it was fascinating to see.
  13. Carnival in the islands is celebrated at different times on different islands - for example St Thomas USVI Carnival is in April, St Croix USVI is December and St John USVI is in July so it depends what island you will be visiting when. Sorry I can't answer if there will be any onboard celebrations
  14. We sailed in August on the Onward and thought the food to be just OK nothing outstanding in either the main or specialty dining rooms (MUCH better food on Celebrity Edge which I found really surprising)
  15. Thank you New Cruiser - having never sailed with Windstar (have many times on celebrity, SeaDream and Azamara) I have no point of reference as to what drinks cost - our last cruise on Azamara in August of this year, all martini's/manhattan's etc were around $15 each so it was easy to calculate if it was worth it for us.
  16. Thank you everyone - we have found somewhere that looks great 🤞
  17. Do you have the link to the brands of hard alcohol and the wine lists please (I have searched and can't find it) Thank you
  18. Thank you - unfortunately we do not have any status with Windstar (this will be our first and very excited) so I have no reference as to cost of drinks etc so I'm a bit clueless - I assume drinks are in the $15 range?
  19. We are booked on the Wind Spirit 11 days in September Papeete to Papeete and wondering if the all inclusive is worth it. We drink but not heavily but feel like it might be best to just be able to get any beverage, anytime, without feeling "nickeled and dimed" (that is probably the wrong phrase to use to describe a Windstar cruise but you know what I mean) Might anyone have a photo of available cocktails/wines/spirits please. Thanks so much
  20. Thank you - booked for September 2023 ... yay (now to try to wade through all the info available - it's a little overwhelming LOL)
