Both are great. Just off the Jewel and had the opportunity to visit both.

Since we take only on devise, my iPad we have the IT person to roll my hubby’s “30” minutes over to my account. Never been a problem. Any time we have left from the first cruise the IT person will also roll over to the next cruise if you doing a back to back.

We always get travel insurance. Starting 2020 our personal health insurance will cover us around the world. Can’t tell you how happy we were to learn this. -
After getting sick on a B2B cruise a several years ago and stuck on the boat with two days at sea and an ill equipped on board ship store I learned my lesson. Now I carry what others have mentioned above and then some. I also take a mini ice/mini bottle, ace bandage, tape and thermometer. It all fits in a gallon zip lock bag and over the year has come in handy.
I promised myself I would never be caught without my own first aid kit no matter where or how I travel. lesson learned.

Sorry I don’t understand...get caught doing what? You people need to stop assuming the worst. I followed all the laws. Bought nothing in that I should not have. I was simply stating the facts and the facts have not changed no matter how rude you are or how many idiotic comments you write. Thank you very much.

I did not start the thread to impress just stating facts. Like it or not. As a matter of fact I followed all of the custom’s rules. I emailed customs about questions I had to make sure I followed all rules. Since I am blessed with excellent health I take no medication. I had my husband’s doctor provide us with a letter concerning his heart medication. We completed the form truthfully. It still does not change the fact that customs waved everyone through.
As far as me trying to bring something naughty into any country to see if I can get away with it you must be a idiot to even suggest such a thing. Thank you very much.

It was consistent. It appeared they waved everyone through on our flight from what we could see that was ahead of us. Again so much for all the hype over customs in Australia.

Sorry to disappoint you guys but we are on the ship for a total of 21 days. B2B (10 + 11) then spending 5 days post cruise not to mention 1 day pre-cruise. Grand total 27 days stay and we flew in from United States. Now what excuse do you have? LOL

It took less than five minutes if that and that was because of the lines. No one even looked at the paperwork. They just took it and waved us through. No one asked about medication. No luggage was X-rayed. No dogs sniffing. So much for all the hype about customs in Australia.

Just the opposite here. We have always had to deal with porters when we have use NCL port shuttle.

Meriton suites where I am booked offers studio and one, two, three bedroom suites. Here is what I found on their website. Please refer to their website for additional information. There are serval all locations throughout Sydney. This is my first time stay here. Great reviews. I booked rather early in the year and got a great rate using a discount code from Trip Advisor.
HOUSEKEEPING SUITE SERVICING
Housekeeping services applied during the stay dates is communicated during the reservation process. Our typical housekeeping service is as follows;
- Every day your suite will receive an Express Service where we will make the beds with existing linen, replace towels, replace finished amenities, stack the dishwasher and empty the rubbish.
- For stays longer than 7-nights, your suite will be fully cleaned, including all linen changed once every seven (7) days.
For some discounted rates, extended stay reservations (21+ nights), international tour groups and wholesalers, student and other groups a weekly housekeeping service applies. This comprises of one (1) full clean once every seven (7) days with no housekeeping service on any other days. Additional full servicing outside the normal cycle can be arranged at an extra cost when required. Housekeeping is able to supply additional amenities at any time upon request.

We are booked at the Meriton Pitt Street location post cruise. I have googled and reviewed several site reviews. All reviews have been very good. I too would like to here from someone who has first hand knowledge of any of the Meriton location.

If checking at the front desk is what is needed then I would do so. Since my DH is not a drinker and I only partake every now and then we don't have that problem. As far as other chargers we make very few purchase on board.

Most of us try very hard to practice good hygiene. However, if others around us don’t, then all our efforts are in vain. When I see fellow passengers coughing and sneezing without covering their mouths, handling food in the buffet with their hands and totally ignoring the utensils or not washing their hands after using the restroom I am always fearful of something running rapid.
