  1. There is nothing to handle. ASK for it.. Lido has soy milk as does room service and likely MDR. . You are not seeking an odd, rare, exogtic item It is an everyday it em. If you would order whole grain toast for the child, soy m ilk same as any thing else ;yo u or she wants.

Yep. Vegan here so I know about this. Just ask, it may take a BIT longer. If you have a preference for a brand or type (Carnival doesn't carry almond for instance) then find out the rules about bringing your preferred. I typically just do what they have as it's easier

  2. As an Australian living in the US I feel I can comment well on this. I have lots of light weight slacks so those are comfy on a flight, jeans are a bit constrictive. On top I have lots of sports polls from years of working in football (soccer) so I wear one of those. Definitely pack a jacket/hoodie/sweater in the carry on. I learned that the hard way, flew from Sydney where it was 40 C to San Antonio where it was -2 C and had to get my checked. Feet, comfortable shoes, that's probably as uncomfortable as clothing gets for men (insert my feminist rant here) so that's crucial.

  3. The Vista and Sunshine also have self-service beer kiosks. Personally I'd love to see Coke Freestyle machines so I could get my Raspberry Coke and Peach Sprite on board and not have to try to get a bartender's attention just to get some value out of my Bottomless Bubbles.

I'll second the vote for the two best Coke Freestyle things.

I think it'll be the on board customer service people, just have it done via the TV or apps, and kiosks, and when you need to call someone, they can just direct the phone to the land based call center.

  4. First of all, sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how painful that is. I would get in touch with corporate since they're blaming them, especially since they are letting you call for free. But also make sure you work out what you want from this, obviously you're understandably hurting at the moment, but they can't undo what is done, try and figure out what you want them to do about it. Maybe that's just trying to figure out why what happened happened, but then the other question is if that's worth all the pain you're going to go through for this.

  5. Thanks - but I am wondering what if I pre-order the pancakes the night before (for dining room breakfast) but for some reason sleep in or change my mind - or friends invite me to eat elsewhere? don't want to cause extra work or be 'ungrateful' if they have prepared something for me - I guess because I am on vacation I really don't want to have to make commitments as to where and when I will eat? LOL - time to destress and relax!;);) - so might not feel comfortable pre-ordering special stuff!

So me and my wife are vegan and similarly pre-order. Never had an issue with this, they won't prep until you are in, they're just making sure they have something you can eat.
