  1. Yeah for adults...but our kids loved the waterpark when we went in March. They went in the huge pool as well but got bored after a bit (and unfortunately, they are not ocean swimmers, whereas I prefer the ocean to a pool) Thanks. Can I ask what ship and month?
  2. Ah ok...sounds like a specific scneario of your cruise change. Hopefully it will appear soon along with other excursions.
  3. Wow...strange you're not seeing it yet. Our cruise is March of next year.
  4. Yes thanks... Just wondering on prices for cruises coming up...if they are as high, or if its because our cruise is so far away (March of next year).
  5. Wondering what others are seeing for the Waterpark tickets in CoCo Cay? This past March, it cost us under $70 CAD per person. Our next cruise shows $171 CAD on sale with regular price of $190. That's nuts. Not sure if it's so high because it's 9 months away...or that's the new rate these days to make up for all the loses. We are going at a popular (Canadian) holiday week but the price is still very inflated. Our kids loved the park when we went last time so they would be disappointed if we skipped it .
  6. Yeah...double vaxexd, boosters don't prevent you from getting it. It's just supposed to lessen the severity. Loosening these restrictions is good though as it's a step towards moving ahead It's huge that you no longer need a negative covid test to fly to the US.... as that was such a stress that a trip would get canned 2 days prior. (Will see when it's lifted to board a cruise - for us, our next trip isn't cruise related so a big relief on the flight to US change). Not sure how I feel about the "no vaccinations required" policy being lifted, but again...it's a step forward where covid can be treated a common cold for most.
  7. We did this for Anthem this past March. Left on a Friday for a Sunday cruise. Our original plan was to stop overnight and stay in Syracuse as it was half way. But we had a storm coming so pushed further to avoid the bad weather and stayed in Albany at Hampton Inn. Stay was nice. (Then drive was only about 2hrs the next morning). We stopped along the way for a quick bite and washroom / stretch legs breaks. In New Jersey we stayed at Country Inn and Suites. Wouldn't stay there again as we had a few issues. We had a transponder as others suggested. The terminal is quite straight forward. Parking is right there and covered. We had one of the first check in times, we were a bit early and we just walked right on the ship.
  8. We stayed 4 in a Boardwalk balcony room in Symphony. Our kids were 13 and 9 at the time so younger than yours but it was doable and we managed. The nice thing with Symphony is that the sofa bed turns into a trundle bed so each kid got their own mattress. If 2 rooms is an option then that's better but we would book one if needed...but we get connecting rooms. In fact, we recently upgraded 1 boardwalk room to 2 connecting rooms on Oasis as the price dropped and it wasn't much more for 2 rooms. With 2 guarantee rooms, you most likely won't be side by side.
  9. I have 2 FCCs that I've applied to a cruise for this Dec that we will be cancelling (applied them for the time being as they expired Dec 31, 2022). I assume when we cancel the cruise, that they will be re-issued with the new rule of no expiry? One is from CWC (small amount as it's just leftover) and one is not CWC (which seems to be in question if this one applies)
  10. We went in March (out of New Jersey) and had no issues. We saw We Will Rock You twice....amazing show! I think it may be a different cast now, but they are probably just as good. Spectra's Cabaret was a bit weird , but still enjoyed and neat effects. I guess we lucked out though as the following couple cruises had the shows cancelled due to covid. There was also a Frankie and the Dreamers show that was playing. They were excellent (the lead starred in the original London Jersey's Boy show). Other shows were headliners that were different every cruise. The Gift hadn't returned yet when we went. As for food, no issues but we stick to the MDR for dinner and Windhammer or 270 for lunch and breakfast. Service was excellent...esp the head waiter and our 2 servers.
  11. OP, that really sucks. You were just being honest and thinking of others (in case positive so don't pass it on), and yet you get punished. Am sorry you lose a day of your cruise for your good nature.
