Newport we do all the time, Boston is about 3 hours. Bar Harborbaboutv8 hours. Nice to visit these places without having to drive. I still think they could have done something for the missed ports. Even if was just an open bar one night.

On our Vista cruise that ended in NY there were rules about masks. No talk of Covid.

What did they tell you?

On our recent Vista cruise, we missed 4 ports, due to Fog and a hurricane we received no FCC. Not even an open bar.

We overnighted, so no problem with checking in. Did have a problem with key card being out of date. I was issued a new card by ship and they did not update the port. Was not able to get through the turnstiles when returning from an excursion.

Just off Vista in cabin 9045. We could hear the announcements, not clearly, from the hall. I think there is poor noise insulation within the cabins. While on board I started a thread about being able to hear the noise from 9043’s TV at 5 in the morning. This was a worse problem.

That cruise, but the ports were shortened at the beginning. Nothing to do with the hurricane.

He was told, by Azamara, that the offer is for no bookings only. So therefore the requirement to cancel and rebook. There no longer seems to be any price guarantee.

Back in February, while on the Pursuit, I booked two 7 day cruises. This was done so that I could use my 6 free nights on one of them. By doing it this way I was able to get an onboard booking credit plus the credit for doing back to back. The reason to rebook is the new offer of a $1,000.00 OBC and a price reduction of 20 per cent. Made no sense to touch the cruise with 6 free nights, as this stays priced at list. However, if I try to reprice the other to save money, my TA is telling me I will lose my existing OBC’s plus risk having to move cabins if someone books my cabin during the process. Plus the $150.00 to cancel and rebook. ‘’in the end I decided not to reprice. The net savings would have been only a few hundred dollars.

If you are never going to an expedition ship to Antarctica the drive by may be a good substitute. A lot will also depend on the other ports. Where do the cruises begin and end?

Do you need to pay the cancel sti on penalty, in U.S., when rebooking at a lower late?

It was strange. When we left this morning no one checked our passports or luggage.

We had two overnights in NYC due to Hurricane Lee. We could not leave on Saturday instead of the normal Sunday morning. Front desk said it was due to customs

On the NCL board. NCL escape is in port with us. Poster said they are returning to NYC too. He also said they are getting $100 obviously and 10 per cent off a future cruise same parent company

Due to hurricane Lee we are missing Bar Harbor, Boston and Newport and spending two nights in NYC.

No just Wi-Fi calling. Not sure every call gets to me. I switch back and forth to my iPad. Have no trouble calling into voicemail

Good news on Vista, is that I have Ben able to use Wi-Fi calling with a clear connection.

On Vista now. Facial recognition is not working, so I assume no temperature being taken.
