    For what ever reason, Oceania has few live reports. Just curious about current life aboard Regatta. We board in March for the trans Pacific. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Our roll call is pretty quiet too.

    Last April, we took a taxi to the ship. No problem. Ask your hotel to arrange a taxi. Much easier than doing a bus. And probably cheaper.

    How do you book the air? Through your TA or is there a website? I have August 2024 to do.

    As I mentioned above, Azamara also canceled my August 25th cruise on Pursuit. I was doing a b2b with the August 18th cruise. I was able to book the August 10th to keep the b2b. The major issue is rebooking my air, as the beginning and ends have changed. All the good mileage awards are gone.

    We did the tour Philippi and Kavala. Which we enjoyed. Our guide let us off in town after the tour. Walked around the small town and had lunch Not much in town. I will try to attach some photos from the town, not the tour.

    In Kavala, just before the gate to go back to the ship are some restaurants. Dont be put off by all the cats. Food was very good. A very interesting port if you haven't been.

    May have missed it, but you can post the itinerary of your cruise.

    Not sure if there is luggage storage at the airport, but if there is, you might be able to leave your luggage and rent a car for the day. if you get to airport too early there is not much there.

    Are your flights thru Oceania, with included transfers?

    Also, when in a PH, I have rarely found our butler to do do any better than my going to deck 5.

    Not sure if this is a new thing. Was on the Vista transatlantic in a concierge cabin. I would go to deck five at 8:00 to make an extra reservation. Even if there was availability, I was waitlisted because I had already booked my 4, plus a few extra. They actually checked out how many times I had eaten previously.

    Not sure when sunrise and sunsets are, but if you are up, they can be fantastic.

    Bora Bora is now limiting size of ships

    Doing an overnight in Bora Bora in March on the Regatta. Oceania’s other ships are too large to visit.

    Thought you meant Deception Island. Visited there in 2007. Love your blog. Amazed at all the planning of your shore excursions. thanks for sharing.
