  1. We have done B2B many times. Celebrity will know you are B2B. You should receive a letter whilst on board ( a few days before the end of your first cruise) notifying you of procedures for B2B passengers. Have a wonderful time, all will be well!
  2. Thank you for posting about the sale! There is a 35% discount to purchase premium beverage package on our October Transatlantic! Also small discounts on Specialty Dining and Tours Thank you!
  3. Good morning Sydney! Just before 10pm here in the U.K. Jim. Thoroughly enjoying the photos and news of your trip! You and Iain have so many exciting twists and turns on your vacations! Iโ€™m remembering the passport situation then the Coronavirus and then the weather affecting your trip to join a ship in Fort Lauderdale! Never a dull moment! Hopefully you are both doing okay and fingers crossed you get away safely today! Elizabeth
  4. I think Jim mentioned that he and Iain have some time in Sydney before sailing on April 9th - think I read this somewhere but canโ€™t find it ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‚
  5. Looking forward to following your new adventure! Enjoy your trip!
  6. Currently on Silhouette in Concierge Cabin. We have two foot stools on our balcony as do many of our neighbours! Beautiful day in Nassau!
  7. Hi, we disembarked Equinox on November 30th and Haslinger was readily available at the Passport Bar and in the Dining Room. I recall asking for it at the Martini Bar and it was not available on that occasion. Hope this helps.
  8. Hi Jim_Iain Jim, we were away from home from Nov 1st until early December. Mostly at sea in the Caribbean. We had wonderful weather but not so wonderful Wi-Fi access. I could see you were off on your repositioning/Aus,NZ trip but could not follow along. I have caught up now we are back home in Scotland. Looked amazing! We are now recovering after Christmas celebrations with the family and getting ready for New Year! We are heading back to Florida end of January for another month so maybe we will see you & Iain somewhere? You were correct to draw attention to changes which were not for the better and, as always, you did so gracefully! Your kindness ( in an email) gave me courage to join in the chat sometimes and I thank you for that! Happy New Year to both of you when it comes! Slainte Mhath!!
  9. We are recently disembarked from Equinox after 19 nights back to back in Caribbean in November 2023. We have sailed Equinox many times on many routes. We sailed Beyond in July in Europe and wondered how the โ€˜older Equinoxโ€™ would feel not having sailed on her since 2019! No need to worry! Having read mixed reviews we found the ship, crew, food and entertainment to be excellent! There is a more mixed age group in Europe in summer than Caribbean in November so donโ€™t worry! Iโ€™m sure you will find the food/ship/entertainment/ports to be wonderful. My turn now! We sailed Royal many times when our kids were younger/teenagers! RCCL was our first ever cruise when we were in our thirties and last cruised with them almost 20 years ago ๐Ÿ˜ฎ We are โ€˜returningโ€™ to Royal after many years ( in Jan/Feb 2024) to travel with our thirty something โ€˜kidsโ€™ and grandkids - you need to reassure us that we will be ok! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Book your cruise, enjoy your time together in Europe! All will be well!
  10. Pluses for Princess - new ship, drinks delivered to you anywhere including your room and the medallion opening your door as you approachโ€ฆโ€ฆ Celebrity wins for me and I agree with PTC Dawg re looking out for drink package upgrade on Celebrity Regular dining on Princess can be โ€˜chaoticโ€™ and not just on the first night. Keep your Sunset Balcony and smoke free Casino in my opinion ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. I agree, it was a nice touch and sad itโ€™s gone. I know I can have better at a Bar but it was something for everyone to acknowledge the start of their cruise!
  12. https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/profile/279871-patterson3/ plenty high chairs in Ocean View on Equinox! enjoy your cruise!
  13. Thank you - it would be great to get some information before we board on Feb 12th!
  14. Weโ€™ll be boarding on Saturday Nov 11th. Iโ€™ll check and post reply. Iโ€™m pretty sure they do have them though.
  15. It is just after 6.30am here in the U.K.! Just checked and Iโ€™m back in our original cabin ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Weird IT system at Celebrity ๐Ÿ™„ Thank you all for your funny comments - they made me laugh! No extra tv, bathroom, storage and no double charge or CC points!
  16. Your comment gave us a good laugh! The reservation is now showing as โ€˜lockedโ€™ Will let you know how the lottery goes ๐Ÿฅณ
  17. Yes, same booking number ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
  18. Sounds good to my husband as well! Iโ€™ve asked if heโ€™ll walk me home at night!
  19. My husband just checked our reservation for Silhouette in Feb 2024. He is in our original booked cabin and I am in a different category on a different deck ๐Ÿ˜ฎ No Move up bids made Has anyone ever had this happen? Thank you ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
  20. I found this by searching CC boards. It may be worth a try ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Hope things work out for your parents. โ€˜The emergency contact number is on the back of your Seapass card. It reads: In case of emergency while in any worldwide port, call our emergency travel team in the U.S. collect 1 305 982 2700 We know this works because we had to use it on our cruise last month. The travel team contacted the ship and resolvedeverything in an expeditious manner (10 min.). Very satisfied.โ€™
  21. ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸปThatโ€™s what I thought. Thank you for confirming. In U.K. the gratuity is included in the quoted price. The differential between USD price and U.K. price is only around ยฃ2 per day depending on exchange rate.
