  1. There's no mention of a 2nd booster to be up to date anywhere on Carnival's website. For now, only 1 booster.
  2. So, no more free testing using your hotel address?
  3. Indeed. But for people boarding today, 1 booster and tested 3 days prior is being accepted.
  4. ONE booster is enough for now, folks.
  5. We always stay in Doral. www.expressshuttlemiami.com is very affordable.
  6. Wouldn't it be suspicious if we don't? Don't want the other 2 guests in the cabin to be impacted if she's canceled.
  7. One person in our cabin is going to be a no show. I assume we need to do her online check-in. But do we also need to complete her VeriFly of we want the entire cabin to get the Green mark?
  8. Why do you doubt that? It's done all the time. Instead of wine or other gifts, lots of travel advisors send a token of appreciation in the form of Cruise Cash.
  9. The best option for your peace of mind is to book a refundable deposit. Yes, that still exists. It's full deposit (low deposit is always non-refundable) but at least you can make changes or cancel without any penalties.
  10. Your agent probably bought you Cruise Cash, not actual OBC. So you will find that in your account onboard and you can't spend it pre-cruise.
  11. We're going to Nassau on a cruise and are looking into beach club options. Number one priority is a white, sandy beach with easy entrance. But also VERY important- we need to stay in the shade at all times. Any good suggestions?
  12. Thanks. We're doing a private tour with a private driver for the day. Port hours are 10.30 am - 6.30 pm and we don't intend to spend the entire day at the beach. The plan is to drive around a little, get lunch at a local place then swim for like an hour. But we're looking for a pretty beach. Since we live in the Caribbean where the beaches are white and powder sand-like, walking on rocks won't be fun. 😀
  13. Next month I'll be in Cozumel with a group of friends and we want to end up at the beach after a private tour. We realize there aren't white powder beaches there like HMC, but which is the best beach to visit? Easy entry, not rocky, etc. (Not Nachi Cocom).
  14. Go with the cut off name and don't use nicknames, etc. That will avoid trouble at check in. My name has 12 letters and is always cut off. Poor cabin stewards trying to remember an extremely weird name. 😀
  15. Yes, excursions do sell out, especially those with limited availability. I stalk beach cabanas from the minute I book until one becomes available.
  16. No 2nd booster needed for a Carnival cruise. Regardless of your age group.
  17. You are my absolute FAVORITE reviewer! Such a hilarious writing style. I don't want the cruise to end!!
  18. Nomi is free of charge, it's a mobile testing site and we used them 4 times. Very quick, very friendly. In the parking lot, but I don't remember the number - we drive until we see the tents and the signs. LOL
  19. Since the kids don't have the booster, they need to be tested within 2 days. You can test 3 days prior to sailing as you are boosted.
  20. You have to Google Nomi Covid test Miami to get the location. It's not the same as you are mentioning. When you register it will even ask you if it's for a cruise. Under your address information, you fill out your hotel details.
  21. We took Antigen on 3 occasions and 1 time PCR. Antigen results took under an hour. PCR result 3 hours.
  22. Google "Nomi Covid testing" and you'll find their location in the Dolphin Mall parking lot. It's free for international travelers. I've used them 4 times already.
  23. Be considerate of the crew that has to clean every venue fast and thorough before the next guests come on board. If you want to stay extra long, book a B2B. 😀
  24. I would go on the cruise since you're already staying in Rome a couple days pre-cruise. I've been to Rome 3 times and I know it's a personal preference, but I seriously don't want to spend 10 full days there.
