Well that sucks about the umbrellas. The construction around there was going on when we were there back in May 2023 - island time I guess. Does anyone know if the road under the umbrellas is always blocked? When we were there there were also police at the barrier, we weren't sure if we could go past them or not but didn't see a need. Did you head up the hill to the pigeons from there?

It will! Saw them in Chicago 2 weekends ago. Well worth it. @Saint Greg Amazing pictures so far. My wife was recently in Norway and I see a lot in common in the photos. Such beauty.

Looks like a great first day in Barcelona! I really like the looks of that hotel, its been added to the short list of hotels to look at when we go there next August.

Did I miss something? Isn't the last meal you had the baguette and quiche like 12 hours ago? Anything would smell good to me at that point!! But I looked up that hotel restaurant and the menu does look like it would smell good!

You may not have had the finest example, but I'd say Wisconsin cheeses by far outpace the French these days, Then again, I may be biased as well. 🙂

Have a safe and enjoyable trip. I can't imagine a repeat and Air France being like British Air for you. You know what they say about lightening striking twice. Well, unless you're this guy.

Thanks for taking us along yet again. It was entertaining and informative as usual. I've been doing more land vacations than cruises but the casino offers keep coming from Carnival and this ship is now on my radar for sure. While your adventures during your Barcelona cruise should be licensed by Apple to sell AirTags (I bought some after reading), this one Carnival should use to encourage people to sail on Venezia! Looking forward to your upcoming NCL cruise!

I just thought about this not too long ago as well. Been well over a year since I received any. Almost to the point of giving up on SW, cutting flights out of MKE and ORD with direct flight options limited. And now they forget to put enough fuel in the plane to get your there. 😄

I hate seeing those $50 casino offers to go in to only find out there are $600 in taxes and port fees. This will be far better.

I just finally used up the last the bottle I bought on my March 2018 visit aboard the Miracle. It made for a good, albeit strangely colored, margarita. The tour we took also went to Curacao Brewpub which has since closed, but that new brewery in town looks nice. I might need to get back to Curacao. Thanks for all the photos and live review.

Just New Jersey now, Oregon legalized it last year. Anything and everything it seems makes you smile. I love that!
