I assume you're docked in Havensite. It's a five minute walk to the sky ride. It's an eight minute ride to town. Check out Geoffrey tours. He has a tour that will pretty much give you want you are looking for. He's very reasonable and I've used him many times. Never been disappointed.

They also had a surf and turf option on our May sailing, filet mignon and lobster tail. It was great Maybe you can get your table mate to order the same and you can swap with each other? -

There are dispatchers as you leave the Puerto Plata complex. They will give you a price. It will be very pricey.

We sailed on her in May and had a great time. Embarkation lunch had chilled lobster tails, peeled jumbo shrimp, and tuna tartar. Never saw that before. We had lunch at Hooked one day and it was delicious. We booked that last Black Friday for $13.99 each. We booked for the ship, not the itinerary. -
Trinkets at trivia probably cost a quarter or less. Last year they used the Star lounge for a lot of their trivia sessions.
