  1. I didn't see that many on.my last cruise. Maybe a handful. I know I will never wear a mask again
  2. They are not impressed. Some hissing, a couple of swats but mostly ignoring her. I think once she gets some food and gets stronger babe will start to play with them. Right now she mostly wants to cuddle with me.
  3. I am glad that you are physically ok but so sad about all the rest. I wish it could change tomorrow for you. Sending thoughts, prayers and hugs.
  4. It does get colder here but spring and fall are lovely times to visit. It takes awhile in the spring for the gulf to warm up.
  5. If you are ever in the Panhandle visit Pensacola. There is Fort Pickens, Pensacola Beach, downtown Pensacola, Fort Barrancas and the naval air museum located within NAS Pensacola. Close by is the Blackwater River park system and Navarre Beach. Big fun!
  6. Meet Kelly (as in Clarkson). She showed up on the back porch, starving yesterday morning. I will call the vet tomorrow morning and get her in for a complete check up asap.
  7. I think we had a letter like that for our trip last March. We just showed up at 10:30 and got right on. I don't remember what my check in time was since with the key I knew I could arrive early.
  8. We have learned to notice every cough we hear and to watch others very closely to analyze their actions.
  9. I do the same things I do at home. Wash my hands often and drink lots of water. Then I go places, mingle with crowds, and enjoy life.
  10. I am short too. If my husband who is tall is not around I have a tall step stool too. I keep my fancy serving bowls in mine. Used for special occasions.
  11. It is starting to look like a kitchen again. Just a little more crown molding, cabinet staining and counter tops. Then I need to scrub every surface in the house. Lol
  12. Yes. We like to drop our luggage off, have a lovely quiet lunch, internet for two, have a quiet leisurely last day breakfast. I also like to know we can get on the ship early without getting up at midnight to secure an early time. It is worth it to us.
  13. All y'all have a wonderful day too. Today should be the last messy day of the kitchen remodel. Then February 6th the granite is installed. I will have pictures.
  14. I am sorry that things aren't progressing. Pain and restless leg would be depressing. I am sending virtual positive thoughts for you.
  15. We always get the key. I love to drop my carry on (although I still have a tiny back pack that has my jewelry, passports and cash). My meds are in my large suitcase. I have never had my electronics vanish. I enjoy the first day lunch in a quiet non-crowded environment. We always get internet anyway. We use it for phone calls too. I really enjoy the last morning. No super early getting ready to fight the crowds in the windjammer. No need to schlep our bags up or down stairs to get off. Just a leisurely morning of getting ready, nice quiet breakfast and a guide who leads up to the front of the line to then find our luggage in a dedicated area. The key is worth the price for us and we have never had to give up doing something at a port because we purchased the key.
  16. I bring my knitting whenever I travel. I bring at least 2 projects, sometimes more.
  17. FYI check out the "halo bolt portable charger" Not only can I run my espinner with it but I can recharge my tablet or phone away from an outlet.
  18. Samantha has taken over the bed in the sun this afternoon. The high today is 42 so the sun feels good from inside.
  19. The kitchen really looks open now. Three and a half days of work and I think a lot has already been accomplished.
