  1. I used TSA PreCheck at YVR 3 weeks ago. Don't recall being able to use it on previous trips. I don't have Nexus or Global Entry.
  2. Will singing and dancing waiters in the MDR be next?
  3. I think the minimum age to not require an adult in the room is 16 or older. One person 17 yrs old in the room will work.
  4. I think that you need a ticket if you want the senior discount.
  5. When you pay for your ticket at a kiosk, the screen will ask if you are a senior. If you have problems, there is usually someone to assist; or ask someone buying a ticket for help.
  6. I took SkyTrain last week. 1 way, 2 zone senior fare was $2.27 US. From YVR to the city is a little more due to the airport surcharge.
  7. Does Canadian law afford you any protection? Your parents card is Canadian issued and charged by an American company. You may have some sort of leverage there. Best of luck to you and yours.
  8. Dispute this charge immediately, don't "wait a couple of days".
  9. Read your Travel Summary. Everything that you have included on your booking will be shown there.
  10. When I took WP&YRR in 2021, they had all of the passengers swap sides of the rail car so that everyone got to sit on the scenic side of the car. At that time, we couldn't go into Canada due to Covid restrictions.
  11. Wanna bet on that? I have never been given incorrect safety information from Security.
  12. The question was in finding your muster station BEFORE you can get access to your room.
  13. Absolutely NOT a delay boarding. It goes like this: Me: Could you tell me my muster location? Security: Yes sir! It is the Crown Grill. Me: Thank you. It would take less time to give you that information than it did to read this. It is listed with your photo on their device screens.
  14. I ask security about that as I first board. They will tell you.
  15. I had heard the the Port of SF is doing maintenance work on all the piers to include new fenders/rubber bumpers dockside. Just lucky timing I guess that Pier 35 is down that day.
  16. Thanks all. I'll fly. My concern for arrival is the delay in boarding for the inspections with basically no decent facilities to process arrival of new passengers. A waiting area.
  17. I will be departing San Francisco from Pier 80, near Candlestick Point. From Google Earth, I don't see any dedicated parking for cruising. As this is a 1-way repo cruise to Vancouver, where do you park, SFO and Princess transfer or Uber/Lyft? The Grand is returning from Aus/NZ. Will it clear extended Customs and Coast Guard inspections in Hnl stop or SF? Should I brace myself for a zoo-like experience? I have a 3+/- hr drive. If parking is an issue, fly in? I have United service close by.
  18. Yes, you can check in at your muster station first. As you check in with security when you first board, ask them for your muster location. Watch the video at a bar, eatery or anywhere. Super easy.
  19. Call room service to change your selections. Selections may vary according to the ship supplies.
  20. If it is a Princess excursion, I'm sure that they will get you aboard after your excursion regardless of the time of night or morning.
  21. You pay double on your cruise fare and then the $60 pp/pd is added to that. Since you only have 1 person in the cabin, you are charged for 1 Plus package. Just bounce back and forth with your devices.
