On Oceania O class ships the saunas & heated chairs are open to all R ships saunas/steam room (?) only also open to all The Spa deck with the hot tub/T pool & loungers require a room key from A cabins & above or a paid pass Not sure how much different they are to other spa areas

Why spend all that money on a cruise ? It is a personal choice what people decide to spend their money on

So are you saying pax were required to get a VISA for a port stop?? Maybe the clue is that your cruise is a B2B /GV/Extended journey what ever you choose to call it where the 1st segment ends in Turkiye so even though you are staying on they require all to have VISA probably easier for the Officials than trying to sort out those that ore continuing on So I guess the lesson here is if you are on a B2B & the turnaround port is in Turkiye get a VISA prior to the cruise JMO

The fact you are staying after the cruise & flying out of Turkiye is the reason you will require a VISA If the ship was just overnighting & then left with you onboard you would be fine without one Inflation I guess has hit Turkiye as well 😉

Depends on the turnaround port It is not just the VISTA In USA turnaround ports we have had to disembark but we can either wait in the terminal building until the ship is zeroed or go off for a bit then get back on the ship In the past they gave you your new room key a couple days prior to the end of the 1st cruise disembarkation day you get a card "in transit" so no need to do the check in again just go right to the ship Other Countries vary you may not have to leave the ship but you may also have to do the same as USA In any case you will get written instructions on what to do ...READ them & if you do not understand go ask at reception I am sure current B2B ers will have more up to date information

I think you had to ask for them to hold the space & comment in the Currents Just saying on our cruises with O there always seemed to be one along with other groups It is nice that they do have them for those people to get together Like Friends of Bill & others But we are way off the topic of discounts 😉

If you are a Hyatt member you can sometimes get good deals I found that VT for our dates was not cheaper than Hyatt this was pre covid Check both options

If flying in you used to be able to get one at the airport but if it was me I would get one ahead of time YMMV

Quick question Because we do not sail on the main stream lines What is a Thermal spa area that people mention?? We did sail on HAL back in 2015 & there was an indoor pool that you had to pay extra to use it that the Thermal spa ?

Do they supply a shuttle to QC? Do you have choice of hotel locations with NCL? seems odd to have a hotel in Montreal when the ship sails from Quebec city
