Yes the sales on Oceania can be confusing But in the fine print it does say your cabin category must have availability to get the deal Yes paying big $$$ for a suite & not get any compensation on a sale like this is most annoying I am sure The top suites & insides are usually the first to go All you can do is keep asking your rep to get something off or FCC for you Unfortunately your cruises is in the middle of 2 Grand voyages so cabins will be held to see if others book the GV & not the single segment The Hotel was probably removed as they are no longer docking in Venice They do have a pre cruise hotel in Trieste listed They probably will have transfers from VCE to Trieste do get your rep to check as many will be flying into VCE They did have transfer last year & maybe are still doing them for cruises out of Trieste JMO

If you do not drink or take ships tours skip the O life O life does not have anything to do with the airfare, specialties. or internet If on the larger ships La Reserve & Privee are fee based dining venues

Are you paying a fee to deviate? If so some lines will let you choose the flight you want I would check with the cruise line so you be prepared

I charge onboard account to my card in USD i have a "No foreign transaction Fee" card for out of the Country travel Or use the TD USD VISA credit card for USD purchases

I agree I have Mr Picky to live with He has never gone hungry on Oceania He may not order the fancier foods but he always finds something he will eat I choose things I do not get at home like lamb DH does not eat it so I never buy it There is something for everyone you just need to choose what you like to eat No cruise line is perfect IMO
