Just to add I can sign my name for the 1 or 2 drinks a day I have so it is not a matter of convenience to buy a drink package of course as always YMMV

We have done the Canal several times never needed any vacinces If you are going into the jungle then yes do check with a travel clinic We took bug spray with DEET & never used it but were not in the jungle of any of the port areas

We like the Hampton inn in Brickell Taxi to the hotel they did have a shuttle to the cruise port for a fee you need to sign up at the hotel Airport hotels have a shuttle to the hotel then a shuttle to the port for a fee

The only accessible cabins on Insignia are insides on Deck 4 Regular cabins I think the step up is 4-6" cannot comment on the grab bars but not likely in the regular cabins

None of the hotels close to the port have a shuttle Uber or Taxi

If they can eat 5 courses why not I sometimes will have Appy /Salad/ main/dessert & coffee We have the shoe police/dress code police / facial hair police & now the food police 😲

if you are talking the Free bags it will usually be 3 days if you are paying per item usually next day sometime same day IME Laundry room 90 mins approx

The only reason I can think of is they are on Viking or in some Countries people pay the agency & they pay the cruise line Some people pay cash or use debit cards to save the fee the agency charges for CC use In North America this is not common & it would raise a very large red flag with many Maybe the OP is from the UK where paying the agency is common??

if you fo into your cruise line account does it show the price? Ask the TA to send you an updated invoice worst case call the cruise line ask to speak to a manager & see if they can confirm the correct amount owed JMO

Have you made the final payment for the cruise ? If not the cruise line may add the difference in what you paid to the total fare when your final payment is due I do not know why you would pay the TA ? The payment should go to the cruise line & let them deal with the agency

Oceania is low key so the entertainment is not like the main stream lines Smaller ships approx 680 or 1200 pax yes older pax but usually a mix in ages Try the ones you might like then decide what suits you best Go for the itinerary Everyone has their favourite line that works best for their needs wants

if you book onboard you can have the booking left with Oceania or you can let it go to your TA on record Just tell them when you are booking onboard what your choice is When you have a issue if you cannot resolve it onboard then you should contact your TA ASAP They are the ones that have the direct line to Oceania If you do not trust your TA to act on your behalf then you need a new TA You are not left out because you are in the UK Oceania never discloses anything onboard 🤔 Their strong suit has always been lack of communication it is not a new thing JMO

I would agree on drawing the line at overalls in the GDR or specialties One cruise that did not happen the guy was seated in the GDR in his farmers coveralls I normally do not care what others are wearing but the Maitre'd should JMO
