  1. But no 99 cents as posted that is what I found odd 😉 They could just go to $200 PP & be done with it
  2. Probably not worth the time to go to Downtown TO then there is the parking issue/cost
  3. Fly As suggested look at Porter from YTZ if you can get to Downtown Toronto easier that YYZ For us YYZ is easier to get to YMMV
  4. A good statement Some people love Oceania & will overlook any problems but we need to be realistic They are not perfect & people should go with an open mind & expectations in check then you will not be disappointed if things are not perfect They suit our needs better than other lines we have tried but we choose them & know nothing in life is perfect They may or may not work for everyone's needs & wants JMO
  5. Maybe contact Jan she is the one looking for the jam
  6. Seems like an odd amount for deviation fee Sounds more like the non gateway extra charge It has been a while but I think we were still only charged the $175 USD when we booked it they did not convert to CAD but maybe my memory is failling
  7. Does not look like they are in B C Jan 😞
  8. You can buy Greaves in some small shops around Ontario Our local market carried them where we used to live North of TO You can buy the larger jars in the local supermarkets but would take up more space & weight in baggage 😉
  9. I always have a photo copy of Passport & DL with me when we travel I also have copies of CC & BC
  10. Not a problem for many that fly to the port city Yes inconvenient but the trolley may be an option for some When we drove we would not part at the port & just get off near the end of the line ups
  11. We did Northern Europe & Arctic circle cruise a few years ago went from 30C + to below 0C in the same month We took puffy coats that squished down /hats /mitts also had warm weather clothing good walking shoes I wore my jeans on the flight over & on colder days in Norway & Svalbard Evenings are pretty casual nice slacks/polo or dress shirt for men blazer if he likes nice slacks/skirt & nice top or dress for ladies Laundry is the key We took one 26 in suitcase each & 1 carry on to share with meds/electronics etc Mix & match/ wash n wear as much as possible It should not be a problem for your cruise intinerary just do not over pack
  12. Check some of the Live threads from "WHAT A MARKET" his last cruise this month he did not have his daughter with him but his other sailings she was on with her boyfriend/husband & I think when she sailed with her parents a few years ago they were in the 20 something category But it all depends on if your children WANT to spend time with YOU JMO
  13. Maybe the trolley goes by B ?? Check the Coral Way trolley it usually stops at J in the morning when we have been waiting for a taxi https://www.miamigov.com/Transportation-Roadways/Trolley-Information/Trolley-Maps
  14. Is it May 18th you disembark? I am seeing one at 15:30 I would see if AC will put you on it instead I would rather have more time hanging around the airport than stressing about getting there JMO
  15. I think most of the shuttles to town are by the port Not sure what you mean by Oceania Paid I am sure Oceania has to pay a fee for the service in not working ports
  16. I have Saucony walking shoes for cooler weather warmer climates Teva sandals What ever you choose wear them at home for a few weeks to make sure they are comfortable for long walks Made the mistake of buying new shoes they felt fine but walking in Europe after a day on cobbles & such I had a massive heel blister
  17. I thought they would have removed those hairdryers by now ??
  18. I think there is a different demographic on port intensive Med cruises compared the Caribbean where it is more laid back & people may or may not get off the ship Even our Norway cruises have more energetic people even in our 70's we still can get around Ask your daughters what they want to do go for the itinerary JMO
  19. No cap on the amount you pay but some restriction apply some of the op shelf Cognacs & scotch are not included as well as some drinks in the specialties like Sake Just ask before your order if included when in the Specialties Crossings they have many activities the usual plus cooking classes book early they do fill up Bridge games if you are into that you will not be bored unless you choose to Enjoy
  20. So I am confused If they are in your cart have you made payment on them? The rep offer to put them to your booking why not take them up on that offer If the cruise is a year out you can always make changes If they are in your cart but not paid for you still have none booked Even with O Life I believe you have to complete the transaction for them to be confirmed JMO
  21. I would see if you can change to the later flight & the 9 am bus It also depends on how quick immigration clear the pax unless you clear before Southampton
  22. They have other Godmothers that are Chef's so may she will just be another Godmother 🤔
  23. I would book all on one ticket We usually book with AC KLM or BA depends on where you are going & the price You could do AC Yow to ATH connection in YYZ or YUL for about $2000 for more $ YUL ATH nonstop flights are later in the morning so no need to get up so early Check AC site
