I think you also need to be onboard 90 mins prior for Immigration checks too close for me I would ask to change to earlier flight or try to fly in the day before

I think these French balcony cabins are an option to full balcony ones & maybe to replace Oceanview cabins with small windows We do not care one way or the other but others prefer a full balcony YMMV

If he only has wine with lunch & dinner the House select would work If he drinks more than 4 glasses or spirits then Prestige package would work if he only has 1 or 2 drinks per day then pay as you go There is always Happy hour 5-6 pm & 10:30 to 11:30 pm where it is 2 for one Of course he could he could just buy some bottles of wine to take onboard ..drink in the cabin or pay the corkage fee to take to dinner/Lunch You have to work out the best option for his needs/wants

We did the northern route one year early April not on NCL hit storms / snow & heavy rain NYC to SOU via Canada will not do that route again

some people just accept the vibration when entering/leaving the dock plus when running flat out We have been in 6084 / 7115 felt the vibration

we went there years ago & you could buy stamps there & post cards If you want buy the post cards near the dock & have the addresses ready so you can save time when you get there I would get a taxi there or pre book a car
