  1. rxlowry- what was the name of the place in Sydney where you got the food and ciders? I would like to try to go there when I am on the May cruise?
  2. Love the Spirit class- Have been on Legend and Miracle but going on the Pride in May and can't wait! Hopefully a panama canal cruise on the Spirit in the next few years.
  3. I'm late to the party, but glad I'm here. Looking forward to the review Jamman54!
  4. I quit doing the premiers and Ultras due to the crowds in the casino, it just seemed like a hassle when I could never play the machines I wanted unless it was 6am, But, it is fun to do them at least once even though they are not what they used to be. The energy in the casino is definitely fun!
  5. Looking forward to your LIVE. Im on Pride for the May Greenland cruise
  6. That's awful! Hoping those that were hurt make a full recovery.
  7. Love the Weyland -Yutani shirt! (I have an original film crew Nostromo hat my neighbor gave me!) Enjoying following your Live!
  8. Brand new dining options are sure to be popular, including Mad Sizzle that has been added on Deck 9, Lido Deck, on the aft starboard side. The quick-serve venue offers a selection of richly flavorful kebabs, satays, and spit-roasted meats. Masala Tiger has been relocated to a new, larger location on Deck 10, Panorama Deck. There, guests will find the already-popular lunch menu as well as a new a la carte dinner menu. Got this info from another site- Loved Masala tiger when I sailed Splendor (was just called tandoori then), such a shame they removed it from other ships!
  9. 1st Carnival cruise was my second cruise. While friends and family I cruise with are like "nope not going on Carnival again" I keep coming back because 1) the crew is so friendly, 2) thus far cruising and more importantly Carnival has been great value (I know that is changing), 3) I love being on the ship, any ship (some more than others), 4) I love Carnival's Bars-they are just fun (especially alchemy (purple sunset) and pig and anchor (Love that smoky watermelon margarita!) On the older ships once I board, do muster, I can't wait to go sit in the atrium bar and look up at the Farcus decor in all of its cheesy splendor. (The more I cruise the more I appreciate it! though I was not fond of it when I first started cruising) 5) Usually nice big casinos with decent perks Old ships, new ships, small ships, big ships- they all have their own personality and quirks, Carnival just has that "FUN" ship vibe! Went on my first solo in June and I felt comfortable because Carnival is home! Yes sometimes I like a change but I will keep coming back to Carnival
