  1. I am hoping you can stay safe! So sorry that others are so inconsiderate and I’m being kind! Love Kona and that market.
  2. I’ve booked through TAs and directly. I have a lot of travel experience and need little help, but I’ve found in the past couple of years having a large TA in my corner to go to bat for me has paid off in way more than just the hundreds of dollars of rebates we’ve gotten. so something to consider if things go sideways.
  3. Good morning and thanks all! The drinks and dinner sound great! Bora Bora is a star crossed port for us, we’ve booked three times and Patrick twice but no joy, from ship cancellations, Zika fever and Covid we’re not sure we’ll ever get there! But so nice to see all the photos, Sandi, your bathing suit blends with the water! @kazu glad you got your SUV fixed and they didn’t charge. I went through similar with one of our SUVs just after warranty, and it cost thousands! I’ve since switched to a very reliable brand and since 2007 have done nothing other than regular maintenance on the last two. I’m so glad you have another cruise booked. Do you have nexus? That helps but they are currently two years behind for renewals. @RedneckBoblove the spinners, we see them in Hawaii as well! They’re like ballerinas how they twirl!
  4. Good morning and thanks all! That dinner looks interesting and the drink! My uncle was in the US navy so I will salute that too. So tragic the number of law enforcement deaths, so senseless. Wee’ve been to Malaga years ago, so enjoying others photos. We visited Puerto Banus and the King and Queen of Spain were on board a yacht twin to the Christina, It was very impressive and a little scary with machine gun armed guards on the roofs. @kazu glorious hydrangea’s, I have hydrangea envy. I only have a couple. @Vict0riann so sad the drought, we saw videos of those poor salmon.
  5. I would love to see a Greek island cruises that visits some of the lesser visited islands.
  6. Had it deep fried, smoked, in sandwiches and next in soup, lol! But I love it! I am thankful all three of my orchids are blooming, two after nearly a year hiatus!
  7. Really? beautiful Akaha falls, the volcano, botanical gardens and some of the best local food, But I guess it depends if you’re looking for a more touristy spot,
  8. Good morning and thanks all! Ooh that rainbow carrot salad! @Heartgrove Jack, I’m sorry for the loss of your brother! @Quartzsite Cruiser glad to hear the surgery went well, may the healing begin! @StLouisCruisers your niece doesn’t look old enough to be a grandma! we’ve enjoyed Half moon Cay a few times.

  10. Thanks for all the happy Thanksgiving wishes. Happy Columbus Day. We’ve visited Hilo many times. We love the market and local foods. Our favourite thing to do is visit the observatory on Mauna Kea It is otherworldly
  11. The sound the Sandhill cranes make us unforgettable ❤️ we have indigenous stone circles nearby that are older than Stonehenge. They are in perfect alignment with the compass
  12. Happy Thanksgiving weekend. We are blessed with over 70 degree weather and sunshine. But the flocks of Sandhill cranes and geese are heading south. DSIL will deep fry a Turkey today and then tomorrow we will close up theRV. Hoping for some more Aurora
  13. Thank you miss G. Looks like you had lovely weather friends on Viking right now were pretty wet.
  14. Enjoying tagging along. If you have time take the local bus to Tarquinia. The museum is truly amazing. I think you catch the bus by the church. It’s only about half an hour away.
  15. I read it on the thread glaciers to palm trees. It was in addition to pre boarding.
  16. Good day. A few photos of Vladivostok. BBC was reporting with photos of the Westerdam in the background as the leader of North Korea was arriving at the train station the next day. A beautiful bridge but crumbling infrastructure. We visited the green submarine 57C2013F-CC66-427B-9D9C-572C802515E0.MOV
  17. Just read on one of the other threads that they are testing all new passengers 5 days after they were tested or embarkation in San Diego.
  18. Very late today, wishing all the Dailyites a wonderful cruise, we had the pleasure of staying at the chateau Frontenac during the summer festival one year, absolutely magical! Our DD stayed there on her honeymoon, and had an incredible view. Enjoy! Debbie. How fun to choose your colours, make it your own! We encountered some new wildlife today!
  19. Good morning and thanks all! Happy Yom Kippur! happy anniversary Terri! Happy birthday Vanessa! We call the area between the street and sidewalk the boulevard, and an area in the middle between the street a median. @smitty34877 sorry to hear your family is unwell. I have read that the tests don’t pick up this version of omicrom as well. Get better soon I hope! I can’t recall who asked but the captain on the Volendam is Captain Ryan Whittaker from Britain.
  20. Good day and thanks all! Love the quote and the stars! @ger_77 thank goodness for husbands! DH found mine in the dark in the Costco parking lot! We’ve been fortunate to visit Corfu a few times. One of our favourites was a private boat charter where we swam and did some sightseeing from the water.
