  1. I've asked for chicken instead of things like game hen. In March, I asked, since sometime we can get Indian food or Philippine food the next day, I jokingly said that since the officers are greek, could we get Greek food? One night a few nights later they made us a special greek meal.
  2. What am I missing? First, I don't eat lobster, so not a big deal. In the main dining room, the first lobster is free, but someone is now saying Luminae lobster is not free for sky suites. If I, in a sky suite, wanted lobster, could I just order the main dining one for free? This doesn't make sense to me.
  3. Enjoy. Personally, I don't particularly like the Gelato, but that's a personal choice of course.
  4. No problem. Too bad, I have 30 days in them because I love the location.
  5. I think all Sky Suites give 8 - I have a 13 day in a Sunset Sky Suite, and it's 104 points (13x8).
  6. No worries. I was able to look at the description. If the concierges know who you are, they know your room and you're allowed in (just to confirm, you're in a sky suite?)
  7. I just found it on the Eclipse. That said, it's on the description for the current cruise, and the couple of forward ones. I then looked at Solstice for October, just says suites. Looked at Infinity for October - just says suites. Reflection October - has the exclusion wording, but so does the cruise starting today. Constellation - October - Exclusive for Retreat guests. So it appears that maybe it's a holdover wording on a couple of ships, since if sky suites were removed this week there would be a major thread about it.
  8. I know it's Michaels, the question is what does the App say about who can go in? I'm trying to figure out if the screenshot is current. It's under dining either in Bars & Lounges or Loyalty and Suites. Solstice just says Suites, and doesn't break it down to Celebrity and above. Many thanks.
  9. Can you look at dining and see the description of Michael's club? If that's a current screenshot it would have to be there or the Reflection, since it's only on deck 5 on S class, and Equinox and Silhouette don't have it anymore. Thanks
  10. Exactly. And many agents have no idea what they are talking about. This September cruise is my last one at the 50.00 level, so I'm not going to sweat it.
  11. I just looked at a Solstice cruise I have - just says suites. Connie says exclusive for retreat guests. Apex, Beyond and Equinox says nothing Solstice above has Michaels, as does Connie. There was a time before Sky Suites were allowed in, though, but it was years ago I think.
  12. As long as what that's what you want. If you don't you won't lose your 50.00 perks. And I don't know when your cruise is, but if it's not in the next few weeks, you might wait to call. But let me stress that you should only upgrade if any of the new perks matter to you. (juice, classes, ridiculous desserts, free room service, casual dining, app activation). For example for us, we'll probably just pay as we go because we'll probably activate the app (30.00), maybe do Planks (30.00). That's 60.00 vs 200.00 to upgrade. And the 60.00 will come out of OBC. I hope this helps. I don't think that's right - I ordered my medallion well before December 22, and chose shipping, which was free. I'm still green lane and my order history still shows my shipping address. We're 3 weeks out, so it should ship soon, or they'll move us to blue lane. I guess we'll see.
  13. That's exactly what we have. Also on the app, when I go to the package tab, it has the 60.00 benefits. My travel summary still only has the 50.00 benefits, so that's what I'm expecting. You don't have to upgrade, you still get the tips, wifi and drinks. I seem to remember that the dollar value limit on the drinks is now what the current 60.00 is, but I could be wrong about that.
  14. So Princess just sent an email to people on upcoming cruises that told them that there are new charges for room service, etc. Et tu, Celebrity?
  15. that's what mine said, but didn't mention the cost to me, it just said 60.00 80.00
  16. I got it too. My app still says I have the 60 package, but I don't, and I expect that the only thing we'll have in addition to wifi and tips is the current limit for drinks. Mine said my package doesn't cover the charges, but listed the 60.00 price. Should be 10.00 a day. 10 day cruise - I can't image spending 200.00 between us on the new stuff. And that's OK. If I want to order food, I'll spend 15.00 of my OBC.
  17. I think I've had morning coffee delivered by room service when our butler was busy.
  18. Got my one point. We have a 17 day cruise next year, and it would be very convenient to be Zenith by then. I just did the calculation, and I'll only need 954 power up activities (or 9540 power up points) to get there. Of course, I could just do 40 nights in an Iconic suite, but I seriously doubt DH would go for adding another cruise before then, let alone in an Iconic.
  19. On the M class, you might be able to order from the Blu menu in Luminae. On the Summit our fantastic wait team gave us the Blu and MDR mens every night.
  20. I haven't seen it, but usually they show up towards the end of the day on the 14th. Sometimes on the 15th.
  21. I was able to eat there in April. Is that new? And since when is Luminae not open for breakfast every day? Thanks.
  22. I'm confused. I thought the Sunset Suite is what used to be the S1s, and dining in Blu was always subject to availability. And why is breakfast in Luminae not an option? (Maybe I'm missing something here).
  23. I looked at the departure schedule for the Brooklyn port and saw Caribbean was departing on September 19th, so presumably that's where we'll be.
  24. I think the live music problem is just this ship, as I've been on a few since the restart and usually we've had good dance music. On the Royal class it's in the atrium, but I was on the Crown twice last year and they had a duo in the wheelhouse for dancing and the party band played a few times in either Explorers or Fusion. The recorded dance music is bad on both Princess and Celebrity. Last time on Princess it was almost all foxtrot and cha cha. On Celebrity, it's elevator music. Too bad it's not good on this ship, since we're on for 10 days soon.
