  1. I know. Maybe a sale. My international ticket is double the price with the airline, as opposed to booking with EZ Air.
  2. Wow! That’s unusual for International tickets. Keep us posted.
  3. What a shame. These are deeply discounted fares and the rules are different than the general main cabin fares. Did you ask Delta if you could change? They should tell you that you must go back to the TA/EZAir for any changes. If you booked with DL, the fare would have been a lot higher. Then, if you wanted to change the outbound date, they would have to reprice the whole ticket. Yes, you could change it, but it would be plus the difference in fare.
  4. And… what did you do to get into the green? TIA
  5. TSA precheck is connected to your passport. So, I would just call them and ask. I would not rely on answers here about documentation. As far as, Global Entry, if you have TSA precheck through GE, then yes, you do have to update your documents once yiu receive your new passport.
  6. I only had the coffee package in Dec and ordered through RS. They said they charged me because it comes from the bar. I would just have to go to any bar with an espresso machine, IC, buffet coffee bar or coffee and cones and pick it up. I do not know about the MDR, never used it there before. Let us know in Feb. Thanks
  7. Don’t believe you can use it for room service orders, unless you have the plus drink package. It says any bar or dining venue that has an espresso machine. If it is just the coffee package: Here’s the link: https://www.princess.com/html/global/personalizer/ssv/beverages/coffee-package-disclaimer/
  8. As @memoakstated, they do hold some back. We’ve always been able to book OB, called dine line from the room. I hen you booked it in the App, you should have gotten a response, that said, “You’re all set.” I usually do a screenshot of that. And the CC charge. I would not book and pay for it again. If it were me, I’d email IT. Subject field: Sail date: Jan 20, 2023 Urgent! Give full names Sail date and ship name Booking no. Explain you booked the CG, the date on the ship and dining time that you booked and paid by CC. When you booked on the App. (Check date of cc charge) It disappeared and you want it reinstated in the App. It’s worth a shot. I would email: A360ad7@carnival.com LMK
  9. It is much easier to read. That’s what I do too.
  10. I think they were referring to the shipmate feature on the App. 😂 I have never had a problem with the shipmate feature! The App has worked very well for me OB. Well, mostly! 😁
  11. Sounds like the serene AK trip may be best! You make it as much go go go as you want. If you’re concerned about the airfare, you could fly in/out of Seattle. There are a lot of buses from the city or airport that you could take to Vancouver. Maybe spend the night in Seattle is another option. Also buses from the city to Vancouver. Just some suggestions. I’d love prefer to get to Vancouver the day before, just quicker. Good luck to you. These are hard decisions.
  12. The error occurred, when they started changing all the pricing. Over a month ago, maybe 5 weeks ago. The App showed “no plans available to purchase.” I contacted IT and they said they would look into it. They fixed the verbage and then it came back as “Elite Platinum discount is 0%.” Then, I contacted them again, and now many others did too. My bookings are all okay now, because I had purchased way before the error. So, @chubbypiggy and others, lmk when it is corrected for the 50% please. I’m not touching my prepurchased ones. The quote (above) I sent you for the new pricing, just $15.00 a day (ha)…..was just added very recently, once the pricing went into effect. It clearly states you can purchase ahead or OB. But, I don’t like the 50% discount given in OBC.
  13. If you’ve tried everything, you can call PCL and pick the option to speak with the Princess ocean medallion App team. They can walk you through it. Leaving so soon, I’d just go to the port and not worry about it. You have to pick up your medallion anyway. Only takes a couple of minutes more and you’ll be on your way.
  14. The latest that we’ve been in the med was November a few times. It was fine. Spring we’ve done March and April and May. We can’t predict the weather. So, go with your gut feeling. So, if you had rough seas, it may only be a day or two. If you had an OV, you’d feel and see it also on deck 5. Just think of the cruises you’ve done…deck 6, usually the midship DR and a deck above the IC. I go to deck 5 midship, IC, if there are realllly rough seas. It’s mid and low and I feel much better.
  15. No, the ones we were on did not have a window. Just the sliding glass door to the balcony. But, otherwise the cove was similar to the Iona picture. The Med shouldn’t be big storms. We’ve done the Spring and Fall many times. I wouldn’t hesitate to book it. It does have a nice cover from the sun. I wouldn’t let that stop me. At least you can get fresh air, unlike an OV. We used the inside of the cove to stretch our legs out. There’s a little ledge under the opening. Don’t know, of course if the Sun is the same. Some people on CCL absolutely love them. No, I do not recall a latch to cober them, but it’s very probable.
  16. Seems everyone has spelled it out. I would just pick the most convenient one to your cabin. We had midship, so we ate in the Coral DR. Welcome back!
  17. Right. That was the way we were doing it, because of their errors on the App. But, you said it doesn’t make any difference if you buy it ahead of time, as opposed to buying it OB. When they put in the new pricing on the website, the way they have stated it, sounds like you will get your 50% discount in OBC. Unlimited and Affordable Internet Choose from one-device or four-device packages starting from just $15 USD. Packages are available with additional savings as part of our Princess Plus and Princess Premier Packages. They can also be purchased pre-cruise and on board through the MedallionClass app. Platinum and Elite guests get an exclusive discount of 50% off*. *Discount will be applied on board in the form of an onboard credit. Maybe I’m not reading it right. Regardless, I’m buying mine ahead, with the 50% discount. 🙃
  18. We have sailed a couple of times in a cove balcony. It was different, but we liked it. You are closer to the water, for sure. We watched the flying fish a lot! Lol I felt a little closed in, because of the shape of the cove. But, still nice. My concern would be what type of sailing is this? If it was rough waters, like going from Portugal up to the UK in the Spring. Then, no. The waves could be insane! If it was Caribbean..then I’d say it’s fine. Both times we did the cove, it was Caribbean sailings. You are low, so you’d feel it less rockin and rollin. So, just depends on the seas, for me. Add: We don’t do inside or OV. Has to be a balcony. I’d pick Cove Balcony.
  19. The difference is: Pre purchase with your 50% discount now. Or, wait till your OB to purchase, you pay full price and get the 50% discount back in OBC. That’s okay if you want OBC. I don’t.
  20. Same one. Battery lasts about a month. Then GS can put in a new one if you need it.
  21. Maybe an Aussie thing or NYE sailing? Will post if I hear anything.
