  1. It’s hard to believe people STILL do not check requirements for travel. It is all over their website and you are responsible to check your own documentation. Did any of these people have a TA or CVP? But, STILL passengers rely on others for document questions. They don’t read the website, travel summary or search the government websites. Travel Summary 1st line: It clearly states you need a valid passport, with 6 months still on your passport after completion of travel. Princess definitely needs to train employees. They should not give out documentation advise unless absolutely sure. They need to document any information given in the passengers in their record. Rant over.
  2. Recheck it the day before. On the App it’s under wellness check. I have seen it disappear and reappear. If it does not reappear, no worries, they will ask the questions at the port.
  3. There’s no longer a boarding pass. The QR code would be the BP. But, out of 9 cruises this year, only once did they want to see the QR code. Bring your medallion, all documents and print your travel summary out and you’re good to go. Best to have a paper copy, in case of Internet or phone issues on embarkation.
  4. I would not use the old App, as this can complicate things. It probably crashes, because just like your phone and other devices, you should update them to continue to work properly. However, forget about the blue lane and the security photo. The last several cruises we have gone on, they retake the security photo anyway. Don’t waste your time. Also, the green lane, if they ask, go through that lane, the kids are with you. BTW, if you did have to go through the blue lane, it takes only a few minutes longer. Most important…. have all your documents ready and a copy of your travel summary. Print out and attach your luggage tags too. I wouldn’t try changing anything, at this point, being so close to departure. Just realized, your in Australia, if you’re embarking there, perhaps someone could advise about green lanes, etc? Have fun!
  5. We’ve been on two Med cruises over Easter and once in Barcelona on Easter Day. It was not crazy busy, not as busy as the summer months. Rome is always crowded every time we have been, no matter what time of year. Two weeks before Easter, shouldn’t be too bad. Not many teens on the cruises. Some had younger children, but not a lot of children on any of the Spring cruises.
  6. Just call RS the day before to order it. It comes right after tea time opens. You can specify what you want. If you don’t, you’ll get everything. It’s just on sea days.
  7. How did you get your FCC’s right away? Did you have to request them? If so, with whom? Seems like everyone has done something different. No direction from PCL, except don’t worry, you’ll get them, you don’t have to do anything. Hmmm Okay…
  8. We have Elite tea time in our cabin and order only scones and tea. No sandwiches. You can only take what you want in the tea time MDR. Or, on sea days some of the Royal class ships have the scones and jam in the buffet. You’d have to ask the Lido manager on your sailing.
  9. You just clicked on request FCC? Wasn’t sure if it was a medical claim, where you show proof of isolation (which I have) or just a FCC request?
  10. Thanks. Guess I’ll try that next.
  11. How did you file with AON if it was PVP insurance? I don’t have an AON policy number. Just shows purchased platinum pvp insurance. Was this claim just FCC, or did you have other expenses? TIA
  12. I would call GS and ask for an officer in GS. They should give you a letter that explains the procedures when you have covid. Q & A. You should have someone from GS that you can call for a question, not a new employee that guesses. It may be ext 6000 to call for GS problems. You should be able to call RS and order whatever you need to eat/drink. Always tell them you’re in isolation when you call. Do you have a table setup outside your cabin for RS delivery? Laundry, yes they will probably wash in very hot water. I’d wash in sink and send out later after isolation. Use your cabin steward, GS and RS to get whatever you need. FCC? Who knows? The Crown told me that you don’t have to do anything, they will send a list in after the cruise and ithe FCC will go into our accounts. Others, have said you have to file with PCL or the insurance? The insurance is through PCL. So what is the correct answer? I hope you recover quickly and get definitive answers. Post if you do.
  13. The CVP/PVP should be able to straighten that out for you. I’d reach out to them again.
  14. Were you ticketed yet, when your flight was cancelled and rebooked?
  15. Please keep us posted, as to what you learn about the early ticketing in Jan.
  16. Are you saying if you don’t ticket early, just waiting until EZair tickets it… then the PVP insurance will refund the air fare, if you have to cancel? Medical or CFAR? TIA
  17. Sounds like you need a customer solutions representative. Unfortunately, I do not know of an email, that you will get a response. Australia may have different email addresses? I would try calling again, insist on speaking to a customer solutions Rep. Or, if you have a TA/CVP ask for their help.
  18. These are a general UG list OB. Not always offered, but gives you an idea. This was from a Dec 6th post. Not sure if it’s followed from the UK sailings.
  19. I screenshot the SD reservation in the App and of the charge on my CC. For SD, that’s all you will see. The items that you book on the cruise personalizer, onboard services items, you will get an email confirmation and it will show up on your travel summary. I always print my travel summary to show all the onboard services I have purchased.
  20. Thanks. They did only take about 10 days. So, that was great. This cruise was far out, no problem.
  21. Ours roundtrip to the South Pacific was good except around the Equator was spotty. I did not do streaming though. Mostly emails, browsing etc.
