  1. What if they had covid, stayed in their original cabin during isolation. (This cabin) If they were on a b2b, different cabin, they may have been able to stay in this one instead of changing. Many are electing to stay in their own cabins instead of going to the quarantine deck. So many variables and with bidding going on, guarantee rates, etc many cabin changes can happen. I would try to forget it for now and get on with your cruise. I hope the rest is enjoyable.
  2. Through TA/CVP they have to mark it NO UPGRADE in their computer.
  3. Very annoying motion sensor night lights. You’ll see on the Crown. They added them in dry dock. Take a little masking tape or painters tape and put over the sensor. We did.
  4. So true! And it DOES happen. We’ve had upgrades with NO Upgrades noted and NO notice to us Or our TA. Ship changes, we HAVE been notified. Thank goodness.
  5. I would definitely not go that late. So, if the original boarding group was 1100 am, and it’s delay 2 hours, then they may board guests at 1pm? I would still go early and the best time for you. If it’s 1pm, then go at 1pm. We’ve had delayed boarding many times, and we still went at 1100 if that was best for us.
  6. Really? Never had 5 days to cancel it or even an email. Just happened to notice it on my booking, even though marked No UG.
  7. Your friends have the same TA? Again, were you on a guarantee rate? D525 is also an UG in now BB category.
  8. Bottomline, if 17 is not available now and possible TA error, I would check with the Hotel Mgr/Director and see if anything can he done, maybe OBC. If not, let it go and try to enjoy your cruise. Not worth the hassle. Maybe the TA errored. Sorry this happened to you.
  9. Looks like S209 is BF category and R305 is an upgraded balcony category BB category. Maybe not an UG as far as your concerned. But they think it’s a better location. Was this a guarantee rate?
  10. Did you get a cabin number on 17? Is it shown on the travel summary? If so, you know the cabin category.
  11. I don’t understand why they just changed your cabin? Did you have a cabin number assigned? Is it the same balcony category? if it’s a different category, then there could be a difference in price. Look at the deckplan and see if it’s the same category. Maybe the Hotel Manager could help? How did they tell you they changed your cabin?
  12. If PCL employees don’t even know, how is the port going to handle this? It seems a lot of folks are under the impression that the last update on the website, Dec 19th is the correct one. Self administered or medically administered, either one is okay. I wonder how many will show up with the self administered? Look at your own roll calls…lots of confusion. If anyone sees anything in writing, lije an email or on the travel summary, please let Us know on this thread. TIA
  13. No clue… You made me laugh. Although, it’s not funny, I know. 😞
  14. If you’re at the gate, ask gate agent for help. They may have already booked protection flights for everyone if your flight is cancelled. If Delta cancels or changes your flight, they will help. First, check the DL App to see if you’re rebooked, have seats, etc. If they do not have a protection flight, Get on the phone with the enroute desk for EZAir. They may be able to rebook you on another carrier. I’d call them on my phone, while waiting in line for a DL gate agent. Really depends on the scenario.
  15. App click Personal information and documents move down to gray bar SUGGESTED click on arrivals click on the arrival group you want
  16. That is odd. I have seen very few non refundable deposits on PCL, mostly refundable. But, if you’re starting In Australia/NZ the rules may be different. You don’t say. Contact your TA if you have one. If not, PCL to clarify. Go by what YOUR booking states, not other’s opinions. Because it could vary quite a bit. Welcome to CC.
  17. Your steward can take care of the closet one. My DH just put masking tape on the sensor. It’s now part of our cruise bag supplies. 😳
  18. Me too. Thank you for verifying that. I hope they change that. 😝 So, we don’t go by what the FAQ says for Enhanced Voyages. I see problems… Thanks again!
  19. They put them on the Crown now…last drydock! October drydock.
  20. Yes, we used masking tape to cover the sensors. The closet one could wake the dead! 😮 This one from the OP looks a lot more civil. We just use the little led candle (battery op) Put it in the bathroom at night, turn it off in the morning. Lasts about a month.
