Hello Roy, thank you for the update and what it felt like getting back on serenity after such a long absence, your room looks terrific. The food looks fabulous and you sound very happy. Can you walk into town from where the serenity is docked or do you need to take a taxi or is there any transportation from the ship to the main part of Quebec, actually I am booked for the same cruise from Quebec to New York City next October so I got a year to wait but I’m looking forward to it very much. that may be true for alaska and caribbean cruises since they are the least expernsive of all the cruises due to the competition. unfortaunately i'm not going to either one of those destinations

i wouldn't mind paying 25% of 50% more for a balcony cabin for myself but i will not pay double or more for the privialge of a balcony even though i would like one.

I have booked five cruises over the next two years. on each cruise, i booked the single oceanview cabin because the price for the balcony cabin was more than double the price for single cabin. i think cryustal's pricing for a single passenger who wants a balcony is obscene and not single passenger friendly.

thanks again for your posts. i'm sure the food tasted good and thanks for the pictures. when you dock in quebec city, the serenity will already be there, is that right? when you board the serenity will you spend the night in port in quebec or will you head out the st lawrence river?

i love hearing louis armstrong singing when the ship departs. have you asked why they havn't done it?

Hello Roy, after I read your post on the grand voyage, I try to answer you, but I don’t think it’s really going through to you, so I’m gonna leave the same message here. It sounds like you had a wonderful day even though it was windy and rainy and I loved the meal you had for dinner it sounded absolutely wonderful exactly when did you retire and how are you enjoying your retirement, hope it doesn’t rain in Halifax and hopefully you can have an interesting day there and find a good church to go to cheers David

i may be wrong but its worth a try. why don't you try going to the abercrombie and kent website and see if you can send her an email from their website. couldn't hurt to try there.

i'm happy to say that i found another and fifth cruise to book, so i will be using all five of my voucher credits! Yippeeee! and now i don't care when or if i get anything back from moecker.

i'm very appreciative of the voucher E program from Crystal. It's certainly something they didn't have to do and i've already used three of the four voucherd i received. keith, i know you're right about this.
