🙄 that is not what you book through the cruise line for, so you can talk to someone. When I’ve used ta’s I’ve gotten zero for a price reduction and very little obc. I’ve tried the old “compete for your business” situation and and any decent discount was on non refundable fares. I’ve gotten next to nothing for obc. Even had one ta trying to charge me more than hal and told me I had to book my air through her immediately because hal doesn’t do that anymore. What a prize. Book with a ta, no thanks.

Same. I’ve had a number of b2b with 2 booking numbers and paid $25 for club orange per day even though it was 14 days,

I know people like to find excuses for hal. I think $39 usd which is about $1002.50 Canadian is plenty without the up charges for appetizers. I don’t have a dog in the race because it’s been a long time since I’ve ordered a second appetizers but I find it cheap. I know people say that steak houses on land charge much more. I can tell you the ones I go to on occasion are multiples better than the pinnacle and the service is much better. The waiters don’t look like they are lost like they do in the pinnacle. The only time I go to the pinnacle is for my freebies.

I was thinking the same thing and I’m pretty old. I don’t think it was a thing in Canada anyway but I might be wrong.

When people have 6 coffee in a couple hours that’s gulping. They aren’t large glasses (orange juice). The amount some people complain that 15 drinks isn’t enough I thought it was worth mentioning so no one is surprised.

I took a quick look at the eurodam reviews. They didn’t look negative to me but I didn’t spend hours read them.

Just to clarify on the orange juice it’s not really “free”. If you gulp down 15 glasses of it that’s your drinks for the day. I say this because I’ve seen people complain because they have 6 coffees in short order than complain it counts toward drinks.

I’ve seen plenty of older people dressed very casually. Hal has lowered the bar as low as possible and people happily live up to that standard.

That’s right! I completely forgot about that. We have a local person on Facebook that I follow but I don’t know why. She loves celebrity and a few high end cruise lines. Nothing about any other line. Positive she’s getting free trips otherwise why just write about them? She owns a travel agency. It would be hard to criticize.

It might be worth it for that. It could have a larger balcony than what you have. I went from a regular balcony room with a large balcony to a Vista suite. The balcony was tiny in comparison. Then I had dude on the next balcony playing Adele so loud that the shore worker kept looking up. All around just a stellar experience. I wanted to go back to my balcony room.

That’s about what I’d pay for a vista suite is about a penny. At that you are overpaying. The difference is so small from a balcony they should be embarrassed calling it a suite.

Yeah, but that’s a good combo, savoury and savoury. Last I heard Canada was wining in the weird combo for chips. I don’t eat them so I can’t speak from experience. I just hear the odd commercial.

I listen to podcasts almost all day long at work including hers. This one was so boring I couldn’t get through it. I realize this is the YouTube version.

Good to hear. I would possibly do that tour again because the wineries were fun. Hopefully you won’t have a problem getting into a place for lunch.

Would love to see a comparison of two cruises a year out. That would make more sense. I'm not afraid to book another cruise line and have in the past. What a red herring.

I really loved the wine portion of this tours but they had to tag on a stop to downtown Sonoma. They dumped us off in "park" in the pitch black and you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. This was so you could get something to eat or shop. The restaurants were packed to the nuts and there was one Christmas store open. It was a complete waste of time. I did the night tour, there was an option to do the day tour which was the next day because we had an overnight. I imagine the day tour was much better. Take that info for whatever little it's worth.

Yeah, that would be it. It's a wonder we can walk without says left, right, left, right.

I know people rave about the dover sole but I found it to be so so. I feel it's more the "show" that people like about it.

That’s a great point that I think is lost a lot unless you book non refundable. No way I would even consider that unless it’s well past final. I don’t know why is so difficult to show that fare. I know it does show up on one travel site, but I can’t remember which one. Of course can’t mention it if I did. It’s barely worth it for me but I like to have the choice to have a drink, sparkling water of coffee instead of overthinking ever purchase.

That’s the best part of the meeting, believe me.
