  1. Thank you. I'm a huge believer in karma so I could never do such a thing. It's hard to fathom someone would but I totally believe it.
  2. Can you actually book a handicap cabin without some proof of need? I don't know but I thought I'd read that on here.
  3. It was on the front page of the Canadian site. Funny that it wasn’t front and centre on the USA site. You definitely didn’t need to log in to see it.
  4. One thing that is 100 percent sure is the hal will never have ships as big as Royal or ncl. It’s not like they’ve given any reason to think that.
  5. Because they are lovely ships. I haven’t read a lot of this thread but did anyone say they like crowed ships? I haven’t missed any of the old ships and I won’t miss the volendam and zaandam either. Have you actually sailed the newer ships or are you in the crowd that “just knows” they won’t because they’ve read about them 🙄.
  6. I’d happily pay an Uber if I could get to any port driving. Having to commit an entire day to flying isn’t fun.
  7. Exactly my thoughs. Hal’s being given much more credit than they deserve. Before I get jumped on I do enjoy the product. Doesn’t mean I have to be blind to everything in the process.
  8. Wow that’s impressive when they can’t even get their website to function properly.
  9. Lose business? No, they will just have to sell these cabins later (or try to) likely at a much lower rate. This is all about visuals and how booked up they appear to be.
  10. Based on what though? Not one of us here knows that unless someone works for hal. Even then, I doubt that.
  11. While not mocktails on my last cruise they would not make drinks that were the specialties of other bars. Unrelated but I love a virgin Caesar and even a leaded one. Most of the time I got a virgin Bloody Mary. It’s not the same.
  12. Ok thanks. I'm still puzzled. When people post things you never know where they dig them up from.
  13. I’m sorry, what is a koningsdam board? I’ve been on the koningsdam multiple times and they’ve never had anything like this. I’d be willing to make a pretty good wager it was just the Rotterdam for that one cruise.
  14. They aren’t hard to find though. I don’t understand why people have such a hard time finding low fares. I go to a large online cruise retailer. Put in the month, area cruise line etc and in about 5 seconds you have a list with prices for the insides right on the first page. What could possibly be easier?
  15. Usually on upsells you do get to pick the exact room when you call. A vista on a pinnacle ship is not worth taking to me because it's marginally bigger.
  16. So far this was only on the Rotterdam TA that I’ve seen. Lots of big shots on board to give them a distorted idea of how a cruise actually is.
  17. You can't sign up for them. If you use a ta it will go to them first. If they don't pass them on you will never see it. People have had luck phoning. I've had zero luck doing that. I phoned quite often for my last cruise. 3 days before I finally saw an upsell and I only saw one of the 2 emails they say they sent. I book directly through a pcc.
  18. It's past final. It doesn't really matter a whole lot at this point whether it's refundable or not. If you can get the hia for $50 a day separately who would pay that rate?
  19. Nope. I see the same difference. You should really book that hia price because the cruise lines are having financial problems and it’s your duty to pay as much as possible to help them out 😛😉😂.
  20. I’ve seen some pretty sizeable differences but nothing that big.
  21. Nope. It’s a common thing discussed on here. It’s tiresome hearing it’s always the person when that so far from the truth. Classic cheerleading at it’s best.
  22. Its been a while since I've been on princess but I wouldn't count on the front desk if they are anything like hal. Having the information passed around the day before would be helpful.
  23. Of course. That usually is less than I higher level of cabin.
  24. How would they dig into it if the server didn't know? I'm not an Alaska fan but I certainly didn't know that rule. I wouldn't have dreamed in a million years that was a rule.
