The dining room is closed every day in port for lunch. It’s rarely been open on embarkation lately and yes I have checked. Then close it for Mariners lunches so it’s not just one day. I know people enjoy eating in a cafeteria. I don’t. I don’t enjoy fighting for a table and people that take forever to decide what they want on their salad.

Pay a little more. Nope, not me. They should have “special” tickets for people to purchase mariners lunches, pinnacle dinner for $200 a pop for those that want “special” things like that. I’m not interested in a Mariners lunch. That just means one more day I won’t be able to eat in the mdr.

I only wish it was that way. I’ve stood in that club orange line like I was invisible while they took person after person after person. Finally I spoke up and said can you please assist me. She said she didn’t see me. Right. Must be because I’m so small. The thing I love is when people crap talk club orange and the next thing you know they are buying it. It’s clear from your posts you won’t be among those that do that. I’ve never heard one person in any line ask what time is it. Why say such a stupid thing?

I got this list by shear accident. I was talking to the lovely hostess from club orange at the stand where you make reservations. She just randomly handed it to me.

I tire of hearing this. If you are not interested that fine. It always people that have never used club orange that say this. I don’t enjoy people staring at me and I never feel that way in club orange. You are also in a fishbowl in the mdr. You don’t become invisible in there.

Wow, that is ridiculous. If you just bought it the rate it is now you would get double Mariners points. Through and upsell you wouldn’t. I wouldn’t pay either of those amounts for it. If you do end up taking it I think you’ll be shocked at how small it is.

I've spent a month on the koningsdam in club orange. Like the previous poster said only one extra entree. If you have other questions I may be able to answer.

The price was something like $350 cdn. I can't remember. The room is marginally bigger. I had a bigger balcony in my balcony room. Doesn't matter how many stars you have. You'll probably actually get a better price.

Maybe to two of you can google highly recommend. It’s not what the passenger decides 🙄. I’m not surprised in the least though.

Why do they bother with the “highly recommend” ? Too many people on here read that as optional 🙄.

You gotta love people that pay more attention to their vlog than providing accurate information.

I believe the as you wish encompasses all dining seleactions, not just open. That seems to have caused a lot of confusion with people. I'm not sure open was conceived so people could dine at all different times. I usually dine around 6pm. I don't fluctuate much from that. It's really not just for people who want to be all over the map. I don't have any desire to eat with the same people every night at 5 or whenever hal does their early dining now. Thats too early on holidays. Plus it's always been quite difficult to get the early dining. I eat mostly at specialty restaurants, and it wouldn't be cool to take a place in traditional when I'll never be there.

It's probably supply chain issues 😉

Like everyone 🙄. That’s part of cruising. Ports will be changed. Maybe a land vacation would work better for you.

I think amber cove is a much nicer port.

That was the same for me but it was a few years ago. It sounds like it's the same.

For sure that would be worse to miss San Francisco.

Thanks for the information. Glad you aren’t disappointed. For me the more ports the better so I’d be disappointed.

Did you hear why Victoria is being canceled?

I’m not disputing you go through it when you initially embark. What I’m not buying is if you leave and come back you will have to do it again. I see nothing in your post that proves that.

It wasn’t for me. I’ve never heard of this before either so I’m not buying it. People leave the ship all the time after embarkation.

Sure they are nice. I’ve been in one. It’s just not worth the money to me personally. So really, you can go back 😛.
