  1. It absolutely was blocked by a person who flushed an article of clothing to "hide" it. This blocked the system and caused the rupture of other seals which had to be identified and replaced.
  2. In $5,000,000 worth of bookings, I have never had Regent admit what position a person is on the WL. Only 1 person runs the list and they will not discuss it. This news is very interesting - perhaps policy has changed.
  3. Sorry, I do not know as we buy Allianz - cheaper and better coverage. I am sure there is a customer contact number in your paperwork.
  4. https://www.blacklane.com/en/airport-transfer-monaco/
  5. These systems tend to work better when guests don't flush articles that should be disposed of in a garbage can.
  6. They will be available on the 13th, I believe.
  7. All cruise lines miss ports due to weather. I've never seen Regent do it more than any other.
  8. They had to reroute around the Red Sea and the Suez Canal...takes time to go around Africa.
  9. You are not going through Suez but rather around Africa.
  10. Navigator was in a soft drydock recently. Also, Regent will share the dates with you if you ask.
  11. Mariner should be Nov 4 to Nov 25 and Voyager is just behind her on or about November 27 to Dec 21....this is 2025.
  12. It was absolutely the guest's fault but having 23 year old plumbing didn't help. There are a number of surprises in store for Mariner including staffing changes, itinerary changes (coming very soon) and huge plans for her drydock next year.
  13. It is installed but they are waiting for the current provider contract to expire before turning it on.
  14. Sorry if you don't agree but not only was I told what the cause was, it was also told to the guests on board as well as having a special message in Passages addressing it.
  15. Sign of a guest who flushed something that should have gone in the trash.
  16. Looks wonderful - hope you are having a great time!!!
  17. I am hearing it is very solid...
  18. But you are free to do whatever you want. No matter what you decide, you should mention excellent employees in the end of cruise survey.
  19. Would you be comfortable posting a picture of this gratuity line? I believe you but it would put the issue to rest.
  20. Your solution - to deviate and select the flights you want - is the perfect solution and something that every guest should do. The cost, if any, if small compared to most cruises and there is no reason to show up tired due to poor flights. Excellent decision - ty for sharing it!
  21. Just that canal was out and so were some ports at the far eastern end of the Med. Its a tough call for Regent...they want to be safe but they also don't want to deviate. Their insurance company has a LOT to do with it.
  22. The Silver Seas expedition ship we were on had more "space" than Regent due to the extremely low passenger capacity (about 207 I think). It goes down as the single most incredible destination we have ever been to in over 150 countries visited.
  23. I agree and I don't think Regent's management should treat people differently just because they are on Regent vs. NCL. However, once you get beyond a certain point of spending, your TA can contact their Account Rep who can move mountains on behalf of a client.
