  1. If you do a mock booking look at the addition of Have it all. I'm assuming that it is an error but thought someone might have seen an announcement.
  2. I was just looking at future cruises and Have it All just shows shore excursions, beverage package and wi-fy. Did I miss an announcement.
  3. If you have any paperwork showing the three years of reserve time you should be considered a veteran. Go for it.
  4. The only noise we had in J1877 was when they were using the gangway right across the passageway from the stairway lobby . This was only once on a 10 day cruise. There is no noise from the stairway or from above. We have J1905 for a future cruise but have not stayed there in the past.
  5. We have booked J1877 in the past and on two future cruises. This is right below RuthC's Favorite J2619. These sideways cabins have a better layout than the regular orientation and these two along with J 1905 are about 4 foot longer than the other sideways cabins.
  6. We are on the 94 day Grand Australia cruise and are wondering how you get cash needed for off ship activities. Does Guest Services give cash advances on your Sail and Sign account?
  7. We were in Amber Cove in February 2023 and were disappointed with the tour choices. We decided on a tour to a chocolate farm and factory. We were both very impressed with this tour. Dean
  8. The low fare guarantee is for 72 hours from the original booking.
  9. Thank You Mary, We will really need a free Pinnacle meal near the end of a 94 day cruise.
  10. We will be making 5 star near the end of the Grand Australia. Do we get the free Pinacle meal and Spa day on that cruise?
  11. See 1111 on Statendam on halfacts.com same as 1111 on Rotterdam.
  12. The ship buys you a drink and vets tell service stories. Sometimes there are discussions about DOD and VA benefits. Normally on a sea day afternoon.
  13. It can also be a tide issue. I was on back to back cruises in February and the beach was much wider in two day's.
  14. Sorry, I am mixing up my cruises. We will be in 1877 on Volendam in January 2024. Probably not a help for you.
  15. We have 1877 on the Rotterdam in February. I will post pictures and a floor plan on Halfacts.com when we return. The deck plan shows 1877 to be 4 to 5 feet longer than 1841.
  16. They are touch free. That does not mean that people do not touch them. You can get both water and ice without touching the dispenser. The problem is getting to the dispenser.
  17. My solution, which works well for me. I have a metal insulated beverage container that holds about 16 ounces. It has a wide mouth and a drinking spout. I fill it with ice and ice water from the lido. If I am leaving the ship I get whatever water container that is available with HIA and use that to refill the insulated bottle. I always have cold water and it does not matter what HIA water container the ship is offering that day. Note: If you fill any container from Lido ice or water; please fill a glass or glasses and move away to fill your container.
  18. WannaSea, Did they charge extra for a second appetizer?
  19. That should be; 50% for the shorter cruises and 25% for the other 21 day cruises.
  20. For the ships with mixed with long and short cruises it is even more difficult to determine how full the ship is. My 21 day Rotterdam cruise February 4 to 25 is sold out. However, the other four cruises sharing dates with us are not full. January 25 to February 14, February 4 to 14, February 14 to 25 and February 14 to March 7 all have open cabins. I looked a year out and it appears that only 25 percent of the cabins are assigned to each 21 day cruise and 25 percent to each 10 and 11 day cruises.
  21. You can also buy the soda without using your drink package. Just take it from the mini bar or ask the bartender to charge you for it.
  22. I think that a big part of the problem is that HAL included internet in the Have it All package. I have been on 50 plus cruises and never purchased internet. Logging on in ports has always been enough. My upcoming cruise includes Have it All and, therefore, WiFi. It appears that many current cruisers have Have it All, and may be using WiFi for the first time. I am not sure but does Navigator use ship WiFi? Dean
  23. I have been on over 20 HAL cruises (4 star Mariner). Latest was February 2022. I have never had a problem boarding as soon as boarding starts. My assigned boarding time has never been an issue. Has HAL recently been enforcing assigned boarding times? Dean
