  1. How did they not put this guy off the ship at the next port? How did they not get statements from witnesses immediately after the incident, including the magician? It seems like this was handled horribly by the cruise line.
  2. It IS different from any other denomination. Most cash drawers don't have a place for it. Some people don't even know it exists. Some retailers don't want to accept it.
  3. I totally agree. Why even run the risk of unnecessarily making something more difficult for the crew members? I'm sure they can find a way to use the $2 bills but why make them potentially go through extra effort to do so?
  4. If a crew member didn't like them do you honestly think they would tell you?
  5. I suspect one reason merchants don't like them is because they don't have a slot for them in their cash registers.
  6. I agree. Why even introduce a potential problem by giving out $2 bills? Why not make it as easy as possible for the workers on the ship?
  7. Agreed. The salad portion of the buffet is probably my favorite. I know exactly what is going into it.
  8. Agreed. The logic in some of these comments sometimes eludes me also.
  9. Lol no, it doesn't break me financially. Not even close. But delaying payment does benefit me financially, which is something I like.
  10. If it was just one cruise, then I would tend to agree with you that it's fairly insignificant. But over numerous cruises (and other instances of delaying paying for things as long as possible), it adds up. Along the same lines, I always get a kick out of people thinking that getting an income tax refund is a good thing. In reality, it's best to owe income tax (provided that you haven't incurred a penalty, of course).
  11. That's how I feel about it also. I don't like giving away my money before I have to.
