  1. I've seen at a sandwich shop where the worker puts a handful of chips from a bin onto each plate. It's always the same type of chips (Ruffles-like), but at least it's chips, and it seems like a good solution to people stocking up on bags.
  2. Agreed. There's no way I would ever feel comfortable asking others at my table (that I wasn't traveling with) for their lobster.
  3. We're thinking of dining at the Rooftop Garden Grill during out Scandinavian cruise in June, but we are wondering if it would be cold. I know that the weather is obviously the main factor, but I was just wondering in general, how sheltered is the restaurant from the elements? Thanks!
  4. Haven't done an IV yet (doing one later this year), but I think this will be my biggest issue. I like having the curtains closed to keep the room dark until everyone in the room is awake. But before everyone is awake, I like being able to peek out through the curtains in the morning like to check the weather, or whether we are docked, without letting in a ton of daylight. From what I understand about the IV, that won't be possible.
  5. How does the phone and the device know how far apart they are? Different devices utilize different bluetooth strengths, so it can't be based on signal strength.
  6. Where on the Apex can an Elite-level passenger get the complimentary drinks? I realize that this is only available between 5pm and 7pm. Thanks!
  7. Does anyone know where I might find a daily planner for a Celebrity 12-night Scandinavian cruise? I realize things are different between different ships and different cruises, but I just want to get a general idea of what might be planned. If not specifically for this type of cruise, is there somewhere that has a pretty good collection of Celebrity daily planners? Thanks!
  8. Any of the owner's suites on decks 11 or 12 would be good. Also the Royal Loft suite on deck 8 would be nice.
  9. If you are going for the natural beauty then you will most definitely not get bored on Princess. They truly make it amazing, not just by where they go, but with other features like bringing National Park Service rangers onboard. And their lodges are not to be missed. Also, the visit to Glacier Bay alone is worth going on Princess.
  10. You should definitely go on Princess. They go to Glacier Bay, which is amazing. Be sure to include staying at their lodges.
  11. Confused what you mean by this. Surely there was water coming out of the faucets. Did you expect them to give you free bottles of water?
  12. Agreed. Ear buds seem like the perfect solution. Not sure why people don't understand that.
  13. After you wash them roll them in towels before hanging them up. It gets a lot of the water out.
  14. Princess. Be sure to include staying at their lodges before or after the cruise, and visit Denali. As another poster said, Glacier Bay is amazing. You really shouldn't miss it.
  15. Same here. I have family members that were there literally last week. They used one of the car services and had no problems whatsoever.
  16. Not true. Aida, Costa, and Fred Olsen allow smoking on balconies.
  17. I agree. I used to like Coco Cay more than Labadee because it felt more authentic. Then they made all of their changes and made it worse, in my opinion.
  18. Where did they say that the ship wasn't full?
  19. It might be best to ask on other cruise lines' boards.
  20. Be aware that your clothes are washed with other people's clothes, each in their own mesh bags, in case that matters to you.
