  1. Keep checking.

They always open up more closer to the cruise if they don't have enough platinums cruising. The problem I see is that you will be cruising on Easter week so it will likely be sold out. On the other hand, there will be a lot of spring breakers who may be college kids so they will likely not be platinum status. This will allow for more FTTF to be available

  2. I've read on here previously where someone has taken the door decorations off of one door and put them on another.

In another post, a guy kept getting rather drunk and had trouble finding his cabin every night so he put a balloon on the door. His buddies put balloons on all of the cabin doors around his cabin.

    :'):')That's funny.:'):')

  3. We won't stop.

    Stop complaining.

Not sure if this was intended for me but just in case... I am certainly not complaining. The question was asked because those were some of the major topics being discussed at the time of original post. There will always be options for cruising so I can't even think of anything that would really stop be from cruising.

  4. It's likely I will even keep cruising after I'm dead. My father loved to cruise and i bring his ashes on every cruise I go on. My children have promised to do the same for me. Not even death will keep me from cruising.

Have they ever asked you at the airport or getting on the ship what that is? I'm talking about the ash.

  5. Glory is a way better ship IMHO.

There are two main factors that determine how rocky the ship is:

    1. Time of year... Seas are rougher at certain times

    2. size of the ship

and I will add a third one

    3. The number of people having whooopie on one side vs the number doing it on the other side. :p

  6. There was no fine print to read because I was on the phone and not near a computer. Once I gave her the credit card number it was all over. So you are telling me it's my responsibility to ask them all of the questions. I thought they were to let me know if a certain rate was non refundable or not.

I am sorry that happened to you but I must say that you should have done your research before you book so you can ask questions when booking. Most places you go and buy will not tell you what is refundable and what is not. I hope you get to go on your future cruise and have a lot of fun. The time you get to go will be the right time. :)

  7. Im a first time cruiser. Love the idea but VERY concerned about sea sickness. Has anyone taking the Conquest to Bahamas, Grand Turk and Amber Cove in early November?

I'm concerned about rough seas or just how the boat feels in general... do you feel like you're constantly moving?

How is the transfer from ship to islands... small boat?

Thanks so much for any and all help!!

I was quite worried for some of my family members who came with me on my last cruise. They were first timers. Fortunately, none of them got sick and they did not have to take any of the medications we brought. They all want to go back on more cruises.

I hope you have the same wonderful experience and enjoy all that cruising has to offer.

  8. The only time it really matters is if you plan to stay in your cabin and look through the window when the ship is leaving the home port. Ships leaving Miami would be best to be on the port side at that time.
