If someone does me cruise/flight for me which is the package and totally fair and cruise only second bed if no solo cabins are available I will bite there hand off. Lots of time yet. As I said one of the main agencies in UK had great deals on with 4 days to go to sail.

You MIGHT be able to deal a cruise agency down on price if it comes to sail against no sail I think. Last year Anthem T/A was still for sail 3 or 4 days before it departed.

My thing is though with fly cruise you DON'T need the second flight if travelling solo. If they would do th second bed at cruise only I would bite their hand off so to speak

Or would a solo person have to share or would they be a supplement on a fly cruise (the T/A 2024) Thanks in advance guys.

Do you know how much power those ovens use when on 18 hours a day perhaps? The ovens in Windjammer are only on a few hours a day.

I am not surprised they are considering charging. They do use a hell of a lot of cheese and other ingridents and a hell of lot of power in those ovens. I have seen 3 full pizzas gone in 10 minutes on Anthem.

Those 3 countries to my knowledge are not on the U.S Visa Waiver Program. There are countries in Europe that are not and I think it is those three.

We shouldn't be moaning about the cost. The UK is lucky to be on the visa waiver program 3 eu countries are not to my knowledge. And the refusal rate for the ESTA is like 10k of 1%. No way tourist visa refusal rates are 10k of 1% more like 5, 10 or even higher.

I wonder how much of this world cruise is an attempt to cut into a segement of the older cruise focused lines by the duality of not only a world cruise -seeing if a world cruise works for Royal - with the twist of being the longest ever to draw people in. But also the thinking that by doing so they might cut into the Cunard, P&O and even MSC world cruise market segment at least for a year or two.

Of course they are not exempt from the ecnomic factors but to my reading of this thread some people seem to be arguing that the entire upper tier of Royal loyalty be cut away in favour of something new. and have that past loyalty mean nothing. Do that people might walk away from Royal? Royal can turn nothing away if they make money on it. No one can to be fair

I think a big problem is they jus don't have th venue with bar access spare. Olsen does a lot of group event bookings they had least 4 different booked groups on my cruise who took a private section in the observation deck on deck 9 and they also did their own things. They simply don't have the space to give a nightly meetup.

Royal like any line will take what it can get in these post covid times. They are not going to cast any cateogry adrift.

These days on most other line it is referred to now as the LGBTQIA meetup. Perhaps on Olsen they don't have venues with bars in them as well and the time to dedicate to it. They do dancing in the evenings and piano as well with breaks for the performers. On QM2 it has gone 90 minutes or more in the commoedore club on 9 deck nine.
