  1. Park ‘n Go is currently quoting $15 a night for late November whether booked ahead or not
  2. I made bids on two categories about 5 weeks out from embarkation. I received an email saying “ your bid was not accepted” 30 days before sailing. When I looked at the bid site it showed one bid expired and one pending. I went into the cruise personalizer and looked at the Travel Summary and Luggage Tags and was able to see a new cabin assignment. It took another day before I received the email telling me my bid was accepted.
  3. You can see which nights are scheduled as formal nights in the Journey View activities timeline in the app. Every evening will show either “casual” or “formal” portraits. I’ve seen it populate as much as a couple of months before a cruise
  4. No form is needed for the shareholder benefit. You can just request it by email
  5. The app says reservations are required in the Windjammer on Serenade of the Seas. Is that true? I can’t believe it’s even possible.
  6. I am pretty sure that tuxedo rental would be way more than the fee to check a second bag. It was really convenient in the days when you could have them waiting in your cabin on arrival though!
  7. Documentation would be important for a travel insurance claim
  8. I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad to know that the ship’s staff was supportive of you during such an awful experience. Wishing you comfort from happy memories.
  9. I’m not so sure it’s reasonable to expect people to give up their chairs every time they swim or use the hot tub. 40 minutes seems fair.
  10. I am also confused by this package. The terms seem to be the same as the regular beverage package - “the package can’t be shared” and the option for purchase lists each passenger individually. Does that mean that a couple traveling together each have to buy a minimum of 3 bottles and drink from separate bottles of wine at dinner? It doesn’t seem logical so I’d appreciate clarification

  12. Organizing private shore excursions is a common reason. Since you can’t private message here, you have to post your contact information publicly. Many see that as a negative
  13. When you are this close to sailing you are probably seeing last minute fares. The only way to take advantage of that kind of pricing is to be willing to take the chance that you will find availability and be able to organize your trip just a few weeks ahead of a cruise. Most people like to book ahead even if it means missing out on drop and go fares.
  14. I remember having it for lunch in the MDR pre-COVID on a Norway and Iceland itinerary

  17. The medallion does not require a phone. It can be used exactly the way the old key cards were
