  1. Good morning. 34°F and partly cloudy here. Sorry to hear David Crosby of Crosby Stills and Nash has died. Take care and have a lovely day.
  2. Sad to hear David Crosby of Crosby Stills and Nash has died.
  3. I'm sorry to hear this. Sending our prayers 🙏 for her safe recovery. Graham
  4. Queues never used to bother me until my arthritis got really bad. I don't mind paying if it enhances our cruise.
  5. Unfortunately sometimes it is unavoidable.
  6. Even though my car is only 7 months old I always turn off Stop and Start. The main dealer said the batteries are 4 times the cost of regular batteries but besides not liking stop start I always think of the drain on a battery and potentially letting me down starting in freezing weather.
  7. We used to travel as a party of 6 before Pauline's lovely dad died in 2008 and always went to the MDR. It is because it is only 2 of us and getting a table for 2 in the MDR meant long waits we decided to do more specifically restaurants on P&O and Royal Caribbean. My severe arthritis in both knees and both hips badly affects me by standing in queues.
  8. I absolutely agree Tom. For most of our 28 P&O cruises we went to the MDRs every night. Now tips are included our significant OBC goes towards paying for the speciality restaurants where I do tip every night and the service, better food,no queuing and more intimate dining experience is worth if for us. Graham.
  9. It is very disappointing to hear so many people criticising MDR food which always used to be very good. When we were on Iona in March for 14 nights when embarkation was very late we had nice fish and chips in the Quays for dinner. We had 7 nights in Epicurean but did have 6 nights in the MDRs visiting all 4 and we enjoyed our dinners.
  10. I absolutely agree. It is the more intimate atmosphere, no queuing and more attention to detail service by the servers that also appeal to us in the speciality restaurants. Graham.
  11. Great photos Lenda. They bring back lots of memories for us in Kusadasi. Graham
  12. Thank you for posting today's lists Roy and Sarah's mention. We were with Sarah for several hours today and Pauline thoroughly cleaned her apartment and we brought a trunk full of food for her and picked up more pain killing medication for her. She was comfortable today and her injections are scheduled for next week. Graham.
  13. I have posted plenty of very tasty and quality food pictures from Epicurean. Sindhu. Glass house.
  14. She was in bed all day and her painkillers are working well. We were with her for several hours and Pauline thoroughly cleaned her apartment and we brought a boot full of food etc for her. Her injections are booked for next week. Good luck for you next Tuesday and prayers 🙏 everything is okay for you.
  15. Good morning. 28°F and sunny here. Thank you Roy for posting today's fleet reports and Daily. Pauline likes popcorn but I'm not keen. Tin cans are very important for food longevity. The daily has created lots of New friends. Today's food sounds nice. We have been to today's port several times with Royal Caribbean but everything is on video. The bazaars are amazing in Kusadasi with great prices and excellent quality products as well as fake goods. Lots of people also go to the historic Ephesus. Prayers for everyone who need them. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful day. Graham.
  16. Very best wishes that it works for you Jane and you don't need any more tobacco cigarettes. -2°C and sunny here at the moment. Graham x
  17. Morning Bruno. Our experience with Royal Caribbean is some Suites become available at 3 months from sailing when final payment is due and lots of Americans cancel and get back their refundable deposits. Our last 3 RCL cruises we have been contacted by Royal Up to make bids to upgrade from our balcony cabin to suites. Graham.
  18. Yes. You have to move your cases yourself until you reach the baggage reclaim hall. There are lots of trolleys at the entrance to the baggage reclaim hall and porters too who will push the trolley for you.
