    The train from London to France is very quick. I'm pretty sure they won't allow you to walk off with your luggage without questioning you about what you are doing.

    Since its your first cruise I would pick shorter. My wife and I went on a longer cruise the first time and hated all the sea days. Started again a few years later with 5 day cruises and now we love the longer ones. My own opinion, you need time to acclimate to a cruise ship, but once you do its wonderful! The transatlantic to England is fantastic!

    Happy hours on random days. No more at embarkation as they wised up to people storing up half price beers on day 1.

    It doesn't hurt to grease the palm of the person you are trying to talk into changing your dining time. We passed a $10 and within 5 min it was changed from late to anytime dining.

    John Heald announced a few months ago like the inaugural season of Mardi Gras, certain restaurants will be free for the inaugural season of Jubilee. Not just the first visit. .How long that is, will be up to Carnival.

    Depends on the port. Some will let all of you go together and some adhere to the boarding group numbers. A01 and A02 should only be minutes apart so not a big inconvenience.

    They are holding that money as long as they can, and draw the interest on it. They'll make a few bucks on their glitch.

    More like 3 buck Chuck from Trader Joes. I looked it up last cruise, it was 3.85 online. Go for the half off the good wine and save your head!

    They still offer the tea in the afternoons. We just did it two weeks ago on the Dream.

    We stayed in the last cabin aft deck one on the Valor. Worst room we've ever had. Noise wasn't bad on sea days, but coming into port and docking was crazy noise. Move cabins if you are here.

    Tips are added no matter Cheers or not.

    You also pay full price on port days where your not on the ship if you book excursions. We find it hard to justify the price when we never drink that much on days we are in port.

    The free wine is $5 or less at any store on land. Don't go just for the free wine, its awful!

    We sailed transatlantic 2019, and carried on a bottle of whiskey and vodka. No one questioned it.

    We watched the Super Bowl on the Valor a few years ago. They actually had set up a table with wings and nacho items in the sports bar. Not sure if they do this post-Covid.
