What do you think of the Cafe card?
Sunshine3601 replied to pittnh's topic in Royal Caribbean International
No need to rush to use the card, you could have kept it and used the remaining punches on uour next cruise. The card is not specific to any one sailing. -
Exactly, the TA crossing sailed from Barcelona on Oct 30th for a 12 day cruise to Barbados. If you google her name, they are a US family. I'm not too sure she specifically told the phone reps she was a doing a TA crossing from Europe when she called them. She definitely did not look on royals website for TA requirements. Oh well, their loss and hopefully she is at least reading responses to her post and learned what she should have done.

The card is good on other cruises if you don't use all the punches. At least it was last time a family member got it. -

Depends on what type of specialty coffee you like. Some drinks will be 2 or 3 punches. I.e. if you get a latte with extra shot of espresso that is 2 punches. -
New menus on Symphony reported

Is it Lobster night yet? Would love to see first hand the size of the tail they are serving this week and if it is good. Thank you 😀 -
Yes, their agents on the phone do give some off the wall answers but also some people just don't ask the right questions either. Did the OP specifically tell the phone rep they were on a TA Crossing from Europe to the US? Did the agent refer them to the website for specific details? Emails I have received from Royal have all referred me to their website to review requirements for testing/vaccination updates. Not sure why the OP did not specifically look up requirements for a TA crossing as it is definitely an option that has been on their site for quite a while. It is a shame and I agree there has been a lot of confusion for travelers by air, land and sea across the world during covid.

Exactly! We enjoy having breakfast on the balcony as well as evening cocktails and we enjoy our privacy. -

Meat pies, such as cottage pie, are typically on menus sailing out UK and some other countries in Europe. I have not yet seen on sailings out of the US. -
Our Sparky loves our neighbors dog. Full size poodle. He goes to their yard and they chase ball and toys together. Sparky was about 1 to 1.5 yrs old when we got him at the shelter. I think Sparky grew up with dogs. He does a lot of dog like things and he constantly wags his tail like a dog. Maybe your daughter can find a cat that is good with dogs.

IMO, your best option is to have your own personal celebration. Have their cabin decorated and order a cake. You may order gifts precruise on the cruise planner. As a worldwide corporation, I highly doubt they will write a personal note for a political campaign. If you do not like the gifts you see on cruise planner, then bring your own decorations for inside the cabin. Then speak with head waiter about ordering a cake and order a bottle of champagne for the table. If in a suite you can arrange thru your concierge.

Internet by day or by hour
Sunshine3601 replied to rizkeeper's topic in Royal Caribbean International
if only need for 30 minutes or less you are best to try to find free wifi at a port stop (ask the crew there usually know where to get it). Or make a friend onboard and ask to use their wifi for a little bit. Earlier this year a couple asked if they could use our wifi while we were at schooners as they wanted to check in to their flights online.
