Are motorized scooters allowed on the ships?
Sunshine3601 replied to pampaul's topic in Royal Caribbean International
My DH had a recent back injury and we rented a scooter for our cruise from: https://www.specialneedsatsea.com/ We found they had better pricing than others I shopped. They delivered the scooter to the cabin and we were able to get wheelchair assistance at the cruise terminal to get us onboard so he didn't have to do the long walk through terminal to the ship. I have heard they are able to arrange scooter pick up outside the cruise terminal but that seems to vary by cruise port. It is not easy to turn the scooter around inside a standard OV If possible book an accessible cabin it will be so much easier to maneuver the scooter than a standard OV. Plus easier to get in and out of the cabin door if by yourself. -
How bad is Cococay with 11000 people?

Same here. We have had some great days exploring the island. I think some people just get off the ship and walk around to shop or find a restaurant vs. leaving the port area and checking out what the island has to offer. -
As others have said prices vary with Uber and Lyft based on time of day, availability, demand, etc. That is odd that it would be $35 for a 5 min. ride, I would have thought it would be around $10 or $15 at most. Is there something going on in your area for St. Patty's Day today? That would bump up the prices. We usually compare the two when looking for a ride. We have found Lyft to be cheaper most times. i.e. Last Sunday when we needed a ride home from Cape Liberty cruise terminal Uber was $175 for the 1.5 hr ride and Lyft was $120 (both included tolls).

Total needed to reach prime is 2500 points per club royale year of April 1st to March 31st. So if you have 1300 points now you will go to 0 points on April 1st. Resets every casino year.

With 2 large ships docked lines for the Waterpark will be long, especially during spring break season. Beach club is definitely a winner with a great lunch. Floating mats are included and you can rent snorkel gear over near chill island where the snorkeling is the best on the island or bring your own. -
Love the beach club. I was there last week. Nice cushioned loungers, with their own plush towels provided, also floating beach mat, heated salt water infinity pool (at perfect temp, IMO), great lunch, bar service available at your lounge chair-just raise your flag on the chair Very nice clean restrooms too!

Just got off the phone with Royal. We booked my casino offer for a free 7 night sailing out of San Juan for next January. We upgraded my OV offer to a JS on deck 8 of Rhapsody. Love the itinerary. Next, need to figure out what we will book with Eric's offer. This thing called work gets in the way. Being a casino prime member definitely pays off.

Anyone cruised without drinks package?
Sunshine3601 replied to Frapaccino's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Yes, there are mini fridges but they are more like coolers. They get cold enough for wine, soda or chill water bottles. And room steward can fill daily ice bucket and bring glasses. I have never been charged a cooking fee.
