  1. Artist may be Duaiv https://www.parkwestgallery.com/browse-artwork/gallery/duaiv
  2. In some cases, buying onboard is cheaper for those that use their free D & D+ days and don't always need internet the first day or two onboard. In our case we are casino prime members and get 30% off internet booked onboard and always works out cheaper. We usually skip buying internet on day 1 since our phones will work until dinner time and nice to avoid internet night 1. then we use our free internet days, then buy onboard for remaining 3 or 4 days and get our 30% off. Example: our next sailing would cost $237.93 for current sale for a 7 night cruise for 2 devices. if we wait to buy onboard, use our 2 free days starting the morning of day 2 then purchase 4 days @ $25.00* per day and use our 30% casino discount we would pay $140 for 2 devices *$25.00/day was the onboard rate on our last sailing.
  3. This will be Epic! I will definitely be following along to see the photos and am sure to have food envy😊
  4. On my last sailing All of the beach club over the water cabanas were empty and looked like the ones in south beach area had 1 or 2 rented out. Smart marketing🤣
  5. Yes, that does have a very large balcony. You will love that location. Deck 6 is one of our favorites. If able to do steps, it is an easy access to walk to deck 5 and don't tell anyone but there is a "secret" door at the aft of deck 6 that will take you to the library and 270 theater. Walk out your cabin door and make a right then continue to the end of the ship and look for a unmarked metal door (is heavy) - that is the "secret" door. Walk down the steps there and you can go to the cafe or lounge.
  6. So what do you do when it is bitter cold outside and you keep thinking of warm sunny places you could be....book another cruise. We booked a 5 night Bermuda cruise on Liberty OTS for September. Eric received the casino offer last week for a OV Balcony with $125 freeplay. Works perfect with my vacation schedule (cruise march 3rd, 2 weeks at shore house in June, cruise in sept) and fit in there a 4 or 5 night trip to Cape Coral, FL in near future. Amazingly fast booking when I called the club royale number it took a total of 8 minutes to complete and was told we could upgrade to a spacious OV balcony at no additional cost.
  7. I'm sure you will love Anthem. We have sailed on her several times and always enjoy the Quantum class size ships. Make sure you check out the 270 lounge / theater and the Cafe. 270 Cafe is a good place to go for lunch (kummelweck sandwiches, salads made to order, and other sandwiches made to order as well as their tuna wrap which I also enjoy. Since you are sailing in February out of Cape Liberty your first full day at sea will probably be too chilly to hang outside at the pool deck but no worries the indoor pool and the multi tiered solarium is really nice. We also enjoy Vintages bar in the Via on deck 5. Not a huge fan of the location of the schnooner bar as we prefer Radiance class ships where you can sit and look outdoors. On nice days we enjoy sitting at the outdoor section of the windjammer (go all the way to the back). There are steps that will take you up to the area where flowrider and I-fly are located (fun to watch) and easy access to the sports area. Indoor Hot dog stand (kielbasa, sausage, etc) in this area too. Bumper cars are always fun too! what deck is your cabin?
  8. Our next cruise is March 3rd on the Anthem. Even though we have done this itinerary to the Bahamas several times I always enjoy a cruise to somewhere warm and sunny!
  9. We have watched Football playoffs and superbowl at pool deck. Lots of fun. Usually have cocktail waiters walking around like daytime at the pool.
  10. Hi Mark, wish I did stowaway in your luggage. We finished shoveling 3 driveways (1 was ours) after work. Had something like 6 to 7 inches of snow here in PA. Really looking forward to your photos to warm up. Enjoy😊
  11. My boss's Wife was telling me they had 8 or 9 inches of rain in 3 hrs. We had 6 to 7 inches of snow today. I got out of work a little early then we shoveled out 2 neighbors. Relaxing now with some adult hot chocolate....mine has Kaluha and Eric's has peppermint schnapps
  12. There isn't anything to do at the port or general area. The terminal probably won't open up for new passengers until 10 am is, and even then you may have to wait to board. Maybe get some breakfast at the airport. You can do check in online via app or website usually 45 days pre-cruise. Pick the earliest time slot but no worries they haven't been checking them at Cape Liberty. Usually with 3 to 4 weeks pre cruise date you can print your luggage tags. If using the app your set sail pass will be on there, no need to print. Or you can print it when you print your luggage tags. The only actual paperwork you must have with you is everyone's passports or the birth certificate option with ID for in person check in at the terminal. I prefer Uber. Have Fun
  13. It started snowing around 6 am. Expecting 4 to 6 inches in my area. Going to leave for work after 7 and would love an early dismissal. I was suppose to be on Anthem 11 or 12 nighter to caribbean but cancelled then planned on being in Cape Coral and Gasparillo island leaving yesterday, but nope here I am in the snow and bitter cold temps tomorrow. Ugghh!!
  14. I have been to anthems spa on several sailings. I never hung after a treatment but they may let you sit in their lounge area. I know spa prices are typically at their lowest on embarkment day and can be a nice way to settle into your vacation. Enjoy! Note, they will try to upsell you with all kinds of products and future treatments.
  15. Yes, but why carry all of that? Cabins are usually ready between 1 and 1:30 pm. If you board early you will have to keep all of that with you. Plus elevators are very busy on day 1. Make it easy on yourself and check in a bag or a 2. We just carry our small backpacks onboard.
  16. For Curacoa, I recommend taking a walk thru the port and head to the floating pontoon bridge. https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-boostdish-us-revc&sca_esv=598681343&sxsrf=ACQVn0_3bVk_X7Cz9GrN56GTpG6e_i7HbQ%3A1705371818088&q=Queen Emma Bridge&ludocid=3711383108024288569&ibp=gwp%3B0%2C7&lsig=AB86z5ULxW40OlC1lHGKCJNWACel&kgs=2f739aaba0bf5ece&shndl=-1&source=sh%2Fx%2Floc%2Fact%2Fm4%2F2 Nice to explore the city area after crossing the bridge. Or taxi ride to Mambo Beach. Lots of places to rent loungers, snorkel, eat & drink. Maybe see if you can find someone on roll call wanting to share taxi to mambo beach.
  17. For a first timer to Aruba I recommend their excursion called aruba highlights and Eagle beach. This will give a nice overview of the island with some nice stops at the Natural Bridge area, California lighthouse and a beach break at Eagle Beach. We did this tour years ago and gave us a good feel of the island and where we went on future visits.
  18. It is tip. Is it either 18 or 20% of the service you had done? If yes, then go back to spa mgr or guest services and ask for refund of the additional $35. Unless you want them to have extra tip
