Thanks for your comments. I know it is your opinion, but how did you personally conclude that Celebrity still has the best overall product of the mainstream lines? Based on what criteria? Or cabin category? Ship? Price PP? I used to agree with you and sailed Celebrity near exclusively (we are E+) but we are now booking other lines. As our valued poster @terrydtx has stated elsewhere, my blinders are off too.

Or the IV. Or the Hoppenization. Footstools. Or kids (in general). All former feast topics.😀

Well no need to cancel over cookiegate anymore. It ended. But I agree there are an awful lot of comments on these boards like: "that is the last straw! I plan to not sail Celebrity anymore after my next 5 booked cruises are completed sometime in 2026." LOL.

Reports are that the $2 cookies are another "test" on one ship. Equinox. Not sure if this can be confirmed or if the cookies are now $2 on other ships.

terry I hear they are looking for dedicated butlers for the upper suites. Perhaps you could do this on board during your next cruise.

I guess we should have truly believed this was coming and not be surprised for the entire cruise industry to do this after the 18 month shutdown. But it is like slapping us in the face with cold water.

You could usually get free cookies in the OVC too. Usually at the ice cream station.

I hear Equinox is testing out an upcharge of $1 per tomato if you want a whole round tomato. Seeing if it will go fleet-wide. 😀

Yes but did you ask for hard spirits? They always would draw the line there. We always got the soda, beer and water. Not wine except for the one free bottle first day of the cruise.
