We got a similar email last year when we sailed in March. Nothing really new in there though, just Carnival trying to set the expectations up front (people don't always listen though, do they?). I'm sure all will be fine and you guys will have a great time! 🙂

Same concept applies though. No matter the date, there will be people drinking and you may just encounter an obnoxious one. We've been on about 20 Carnival Cruises and have never really had an issue. Sure we've seen people that were obviously drunk but none that ever caused us any problems or issues. I think you'll be fine

Keep in mind the people on your sailing might not be from your area and therefore have different Spring Break Weeks. Regardless, I've seen kids on every cruise I've gone on no matter what time of year. Also keep in mind that even with a low number of children on board, you still could run into the few obnoxious ones that are there. With that said, I'd still go. We have a cruise booked for the first week of April next year and can't wait.

Not exactly sure how many hours or points are required to qualify for ECHO, never seen it posted anywhere. Stupid question for anyone that has sailed on an ECHO offer... 1) They give you free Social WiFi, does anyone know if they'd allow you to upgrade to the higher level and only pay the difference?

Although they include a disclaimer on your confirmation saying that the Drinks On Us benefit is not available on embarkation day for sailings departing from Galveston, as mentioned in a couple of posts above, and from my own experience as well, DOU everywhere will be activated once the Casino opens.
