I love cruising AK in April.  I also love cruising AK in September and October.

....and May, June, July and August😎

Isn’t April too early in the season to see a lot of wild life (on board species don’t count)

Must depend on the ship, we have done 8 b2b's on MSC and never had to close it out. That is why I said ask

    Typical MSC, lol.

If you book NCL Shore Excursion(s) pre-cruise, you must pay for it at the time of booking!

That’s not the way ii was pre Covid. If you booked it online you had to pay for it immediately, but if you booked through a telephone agent it was added to your account. So things have changed then.

We have not, however, we wished we did when we were in the Joy Haven.   Our experience was it was very hard to get a comfortable lounge chair and the bar service was, for us, practically non-existent.    Lately we have been just going with club balcony suites with Vibe passes and our four specialty dinners being platinum.   We have been just as happy while savings thousands of dollars.

We also add the Premium Plus beverage package and it’s still less than half the price of an entry level Haven cabin.

On the Prima, the bathrooms in the regular Balcony rooms and the Club Balcony rooms are the same. (We have stayed in both). The Club Balcony rooms is about 35 sq ft bigger with some additional perks.

Does that mean that the bathrooms in the Club Balcony Suites have the “transporter tube” showers?

I believe you but I'm stumped. I had an m4 and it had a tub. That was 2022 on Joy. I asked someone on board and they said it was because it was a family CBS.This past July I had an MA CBS and it had the shower.

    Oh well.

What deck were you on, on the Joy?

As I said above, I can only speak for Joy, but a family CBS with an M4 code always has a tub.

All the others, which are either MA,MB or MC CBS are regular and have the amazing walk in shower.

I can't say for the other breakaway/breakaway+ ships, but I would have thought they were the same.

I didn't like the tub at all.

We have sailed on the Joy 10 times since the Covid shutdown, five times in Haven and five times in M4 CBSs. We have never had a bathtub in a M4 family CBS.

For those of you that assume my experience matched yours but I was too 'blind' to see it, I suggest you remove your head from where it's become lodged.  My experience is what it was, I felt the food was on par with my previous 4 cruises (I'm less than a month from my most recent cruise) and the on-board entertainment was excellent.

    Reality isn’t subjective.
