I find Waterside being closed on embarkation a definite negative. Having been in the past year on the inaugural cruise from Marseille to NYC and the 24 WC, this appeared to be pax capacity driven. Personally, IMO closing Waterside on embarkation takes away from the experience of being on a luxury cruise. After all it is your first exposure to Crystal dining. JMHO😀

We are booked for the 2025 WC. Just received a Crystal email with a survey giving us 4 options for rerouting the WC by passing the canal. stating that this will be a possibility. Somehow ,I think that this is a probiiity.

Currently on board WC. Numbers are up in Osteria. Reason: Lasagna has reappeared on the menu for the last three nights. With other favorites to follow. Will this be a temporary or continued change. That is the question.

We are currently on board.And my wife has noticed the lack of cleaning of some of the public toilets. She addressed this issue with the HD.

tnm6217 we were on board with Joel Spires July 31 to September 27 2023. He was fantastic. Wish he were here for the WC. 😀 we do not like the current performer.. JMO

Boarded in Miami for the 2024 WC ,received nothing. However, we are on board and having a great time.

Word on the ship is that the new itinerary for WC 24 will be announced in San Diego. So, we will find out soon enough. And the adventure will continue.

Just how do you know that issues will not be resolved What is your source of information?

That segment of the WC is about 3 months from now. A lot can happen in that time both good and bad. I find it interesting how a small country and terrorists can paralyze such an important shipping route. Hopefully, the WC will go on as planned.
