  1. @miguelmia is correct that you can't run the IOS app on a PC out of the box but if your technically savvy or adventuresome there are a number of emulators that allow you to use an Apple App on a PC. 10 Best iOS Emulators to Run iOS Apps On PC Xamarin TestFlight. Adobe AIR. Corellium. Xcode. Air iPhone Emulator. appetize.io. SmartFace. iPhone Simulator.
  2. I mentioned elsewhere that we are trying Ponant in July -- they charge a 25% non-refundable deposit on all bookings.
  3. I think the norm for the OnBoard booking of a suite is $900 pp. It might be cheaper to get a OnBoard Certificate and then have it applied once home if you would prefer to limit deposit. Not sure how that works.
  4. We next a walk along the Harbor to Saltburn Woodland Walk A must do It is enhanced by special treasures by local children
  5. Invergordon is a fun little town with so much to discover. One thing they are known for are the War Murals. They actually have an Invergordon Wall Art App.
  6. Must be May 23 Liam (not to be mistaken for Iain) has outdone himself. I think he thought all of you were coming over for Hor dourves.
  7. How exciting. I was born on the Campus of Syracuse NY when my father was doing his Masters.
  8. I was surprised how they have been changing the landscape with both oil rigs and now Windmills. It is incredible how many you see coming into Birmingham.
  9. Incredible. Iain was born in Kilwinning and his family have been there since the Mid 1880's. Not many people know where Kilwinning is.
  10. I was seeing them from ashore on our walk today. Incredible that they have them so close to the harbor entrance.
  11. Thanks for both. We just ended up spending the day in Invergordon. Nice little town. Amazing that we probably have a larger population on the ship than ashore. Lots of nice shops and places to grab a bite. Since Inverness is only 3 1/2 hours from Iain's Sister's home they have been many times. I do remember taking the kids there an searching for Nessie.
  12. Now Iain is the Master of the Guiness Tour. When we lived in Dublin he would talk all our Guests there while I worked. I've to this day never been. I would say he has been there over a dozen times and of course the Fresh Guiness is so much better than that which is canned.
  13. We were indeed in Belfast and the City put on the shuttle. We later saw it would have been cheaper for the 4 of us to use a Cab. They have the "Traditional London Cab's) I think it was $20 each way. I think you had to buy the bus tickets (Round Trip) at the port. At least didn't see anyone selling on the way back. Just had to give them back the rigid cardbord ticket. We also were in Belfast on a Sunday. Not much open until after noon but the City Market is open early and is quite interesting
  14. Mary Ann. I do remember meeting you on the stairs after so many days. last night Iain met a person that he used to smoke with from the same cruise. Funny how small the world is.
  15. Due to a heavy storm coming in The Captain cancelled the Shetland Islands for tomorrow. We are instead going to Invergordon (Close to Inverness). It was a wise decision and even on the more southern route past the Orkney's we had a huge swell hit during dinner and you could hear dishes in the Kitchen in Luminae crashing to the floor. Luckily It was only 2 or 3 swells that came through and thing are starting to calm down In the next hour we should be sheltered by Scotland. They quickly have put on 6 tours and handed out schedules for the trains and busses to those that want to do Inversess on their own.
