  1. I'll have to check it out . Never heard of the Nvidia Shield, which surprises me as their headquarters is just down the street. It looks expensive compared to the other streaming devices but looks like it is also used for gaming. Will be interesting to hear how it works.
  2. Agree with others. Let the Maitr 'd know and you will probably get a Cake and waiters singing. To make the anniversaries special I would recommend Specialty Dining - especially in Murano. Let them know also in advance and you will get a cake.
  3. She is in beautiful condition. We were on her for a B3B in September. Great crew.
  4. Yes you are permitted to bring reasonable amounts and could also top up in port.
  5. You can ask your stateroom attendant to empty for you. You would then have to stock it yourself by picking up drinks at the bars. There is no fee to empty it.
  6. They can only assist with unfreezing your bid. They have no control over what room or deck you will be assigned.
  7. All I can say is check out Flights by Celebrity and see what's on offer. Lately I've not had any luck with Celebrity as their rates on my itineraries are all showing same price than airlines. Celebrity has been offering only full refundable fares and often you can do better with a non-refundable fare. The only real advantage is that you don't have to pay until final payment date and can change or cancel with no penalty up to that point. After final payment even with a refundable fare FBC charges $100 administrative fee to make changes or cancel.
  8. She is scheduled to set sail at 16:00. This could be delayed by ship traffic or last minute loading.
  9. You keep all of your existing perks and only get amenities that come with the room e.g. Luminae and Retreat. You do not get the points of the new room classifications.
  10. Yes. Usually if an OBC it shows back up in a matter of minutes. If Credit card could a week to 10 days. If you cancel while on the Ship - Also back to OBC but if CC to your account as a RF OBC
  11. According to https://www.cruisetimetables.com/cabo-san-lucas-mexico-cruise-ship-schedule.html#google_vignette You will be the only ship in port
  12. Here’s screen shots of room service. Menu 9.95 pert room fee plus gratuity.
  13. Here's the door hanger - Be aware they now charge for Room Service
  14. It is true and has been hotly debated. There is no fee for Room Service if you are in a Suite. Aqua and Below are charged the Room Service fee.
  15. Same for us. I had a problem with mine. I had a booking for my BIL and SIL that I cancelled luckily I only had my name on it and second guest unlisted. They issue two FCC's one in each name - since they didn't have a second name they only issued one for half. I called in and they applied the remainder onto my existing FCC. Took about a month before receiving my original FCC. Instant for the increased value. I then went on-line and applied the FCC's to their new booking which reduced the final payment.
  16. Love the photos. I think we did all of the same tours as you. Brings back such fond memories. I'm getting a kick out of seeing the Ponant le Boreal. We are taking our first Non-Celebrity Cruise on Ponant in July.
  17. Here's a picture from Infinity from Cruise Deck Plans They also have the same chair for the pool and spa on Infinity Spa - Good Picture of stairs in spa Couldn't find a picture with one for the spa pool. But gut feel there's one there.
  18. It will work as I do it often. There is a small challenge that you have to be able to log into one of your accounts. I find Firestick difficult to accomplish this. Advantage of a Firestick is it has built in VPN Apps with a couple VPN providers. Roku has a quick and easy means of accomplishing this via a URL that you do on you phone. Negative is Roku doesn't have native VPN available. Work around is either a tiny Travel Router or create a hotspot using laptop. I have YouTubeTv so can also record on the net and watch at will using either Firestick or Roku.
  19. They usually broadcast at the Casino, Cellar Master and often on the Big Screen. It will also probably be available in your room.
  20. Have to agree with Amber. We have a booking for my SIL on a British Isle Cruise in AQ for May (past final payment now). I checked frequently and the prices has increased substantially from when we booked it 1 1/2 years ago. Price has gone up from $7,200 to $10,150
  21. I think the use the same chair fleet wide. I've seen the same chair at the Retreat Sun Deck on both M and S Class post revolution. Celebrity does a good job of making the ship and facilities accessible.
  22. Bo- A couple years ago we did a combination TP - Vancouver to Yokohama followed with the Japanese Immersion Cruise. Great combination if you have the time. The crossing was really cold and rough around the Aleutians. The stops in Japan were amazing. We did have some challenges. There was a fast moving Typhoon approaching on turn around day and got a call at 6:00 to report to a lounge as all B2B's were being evacuated from the ship. They put us up (according to room type) in different hotels. We were in a beautiful one within walking distance of the Port but on the 42 story. There were 2 more typhoons that affected our second cruise and missed Hiroshima 3 times on reschedules but finally was able to do Nagasaki as a substitute. We lost one day and all ports were shifted by a day. I would definitely do Japan/Korea again.
  23. On all of the ships I've seen ADA compliant lifts for at least some of the Hot Tubs as well as ones for both pool and Spa. Also at least on M-Class they have gentle stairs which may also work for you as you indicated a ladder was the problem. The spa also have gentle stairs (far right)
  24. Best to check and keep track. Usually it's a shell game and they raise the cruise price and factor in the discount to come out to the same net price. I have however seen times that the price was good and was able to price reduction. I find it best to find the cruise you want as early as possible (prices keep creeping higher) and book it. Check on a regular basis and if they price drops with a promotion like today then call your agent or Celebrity and have them match your price. Of course this is only available up until final payment. To speed the search I find the cruise and go to the page where you check cabin types. I bookmark that page and then can quickly check. I got a reduction on the cruise below 2 days prior to final payment. Example of my April Cruise- https://www.celebritycruises.com/booking-cruise/selectRoom/stateroomCategory?pID=AX07W462&sDT=2023-04-15&sCD=AX&sCT=CO&roomQuantity=1
